Capping Capture Range
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Capping Capture Range-
I've been punching since 2011, but not as long as you. And yeah, you've put in the work and earned the right to be able to cap me, but if you and I - a large player and a midsized one - tore through smaller players at will, and their only recourse was to V us up, albeit without range, we'd tear their asses up. Would small players stick around and keep TW a viable game then? Who knows. Like I said, it's tough to balance the game and keep it fair for all, and I do understand it's frustrating to be sniped and ranged - it's happened to me also - but it's tough to balance. And, ultimately, it's not our choice, it's Nick's, and we can either roll with the punches or not. Question, though. If the rules remain the same, and you were given a chance to mass delete, say, 20K mob, would you?

No he wouldn't. He'd be crazy to. Despite the various parameters in place to even things out and make the game fair for all it is still the player with the largest MC who wins at the end of the day.

I don't know Katie, I'd think pretty hard about deleting mob if the game stays in its current form. It's a tough chore getting anything done at my size. I think it might be fun to enjoy all the advantages you guys have. Course I'd have to worry about keeping income safe from the bigger fish.....well maybe I wouldn't. I will say this. Once all the big mobs get run off who will you little guys keep spending dp to fight? I'm sure y'all will find somebody.

Like I said, I'm retired to Turf Hugland, so fighting's not my concern anymore, but I'm sure Jake, Das, and many more won't leave. They have a lot invested into the game and are still major forces in the game.

If it is geographic in nature it needs to be frequently looted similar to the consigliere.😡ҝعყʂعཞ😈Տȫƶع😡 wrote:
Don't like doing it on a player. Needs to be geographic in nature. One week limit is great. Perhaps it could increase the cap range of all your turf within a certain radius. Careful placement of these turfs would bring strategy back plus make finding that turf a high priority for the attackers.Jim Dirt (Add A1) wrote:
✂✂✂How about a new loot item that operates like police maps except it increases the capping range of a turf? That would help.

It's a chore getting anything done at any size, das. That's kind of the point of the game. I spend way way more time ranging someone bigger than me than I do running a trail through someone smaller with no thought about placement. Not only that but being a ranger requires team effort. Another thing much more difficult to keep up than mostly solo capping.I don't know Katie, I'd think pretty hard about deleting mob if the game stays in its current form. What kills me is people complaining about the format of this game. If you don't like it, go play something else that holds unthinking balance like tiny tower. IMO, it's unheard of to play the same game for three years -- and so many of us. Tells me there's not much to fix.

I meant that it should be determined by the influence of THEE turf (the radius). I didn't mean total influence, just the influence/radius of the turf being used to captureqweeter1997 wrote:
# of turf was what the formula was partially based on 2 years ago, and it was changed because it was exploited.Capping range should determined by the radius of the turf you own. If you are using a 86 inf turf to cap, then the cap distance should be # times the radius. That's my take on it, mob influence level and turf count shouldn't mater. It should be determined by influence

That would be terrible. Don't make suggestions about fighting if you've never fought.nick wrote:
