A man lives in an apartment on the 50th floor of a tower block. Each day he leaves his apartment, gets into the lift and presses the ground floor button, when gets to ground floor he leaves the building and goes to work. When he comes home from work however he doesn't push the button to take him to the 50th floor, instead he presses the button for the 25th floor and takes the stairs up to the 50th.... Why?

nope -1 is not 1. No one ever gets this. It's notrealy maths obviously as it's a riddle
in roman numerals 1 is I, 4 is IV and 5 is V. So if we have IV and take away the I we are left with V

nope -1 is not 1. No one ever gets this. It's notrealy maths obviously as it's a riddle
in roman numerals 1 is I, 4 is IV and 5 is V. So if we have IV and take away the I we are left with V
