You actually can replace the nutritions meat give by eating beans. On the food pyramid there is a section called meat and beans.Humans are omnivorus by nature. To go against that can only be deliterious.
It takes great effort to replace meat in the diet and I'm not certain that the full nutrient/protein/etc range will ever be able to be replaced by the vegan diet especially.
I do eat meat, tho I make sure I eat meat that was raised ethically. even tho the emotional range of 'lower' animals is less than that ours, I still prefer them to have had a pleasant life before becoming my food -

We are evolutionary omnivourus meat eaters. You may not see the problems caused by removing meat completely. But they are there. -

It's as cannibalistic as a baby drinking breast milk. Now I'm not condoning this, as I personally think its a bit slimy and gross, but once the baby is born it is shed by the mother, and is not part of her body. We all unwittingly eat ours and other peoples skin cells every minute of every day when we are indoors as dust particles that we breathe in and ingest - technically that is no different!Placenta is what a babies belly button is attached to inside the mothers stomach.. The problem is that most Americans don't get the nutrients they need through vegetables and fruit but instead eat a lot of meat and chips and take multivitemins to make up for.So if ur a vegetarian or vegan you will be relying on nutrient rich foods. Meat it's self isnt bad to your health it's only when you eat it in large quantiys that with all that protien if u don't work out u become fat, protien is a useful vitamin to make muscle

πππππ now that is philisophyDo you know what's funny bout vegetarians - they never give a thought to the damage they do to plants! Do plants feel pain? No, because evolution of pain receptors in a sessile organism that has no means to escape would not be advantageous. Pain and the associated psychological suffering are mechanisms to steer animals from present and future harm. Do plants suffer physiologically as you harvest their organs while they are still alive, unable to move, trying desperately to sire offspring? Well yes, yes they do.

Now this is right he stablized he diet by eating less meat and more fish as it is also healthy idk if he started eat more vegetables but if he did than I applaude this man for setting his diet straight ππππI've had to change my diet a lot these last few months. As a result I have found myself eating a lot less meat. In particular: beef, chicken and lamb etc... I do however eat a lot more fish than I ever did before.
As a result of this my life has become a lot more bearable. I feel, for want of a better explanation... Fresher!! π

Fish is great I honestly cannot get enough of it.

According to the United States, pizza is a vegetable(which is not very logical but I can see why they did it) so would that make someone who lives on a diet of only pizza a vegetarian?

ANYTHING in excess is bad for you....even vegetables. A BALANCED diet containing moderate amounts of both meats and vegetables are necessary for maximum human growth potential. Studies show that both physiological and psychological development is hindered when the bodied is denied adequate sources of nutrition......basically stating that you could realistically survive on vitamins supplements alone however your body would suffer sever deterioration. Everything in moderation. Put some fu@&InG chicken on your salad already and quit trying to be so pretentious!

Ethically produced chicken I trust??
-
That mass produced crap just has zero energy in it and leaves me feeling sluggish.
-
I get my chicken from a very nice producer at my local farmers Market. Free range and organic. Yum
-
Its not as important where you get your chicken, as long as you don't get caught choking your chicken...
-
I'm still not sold on organic, scratch below the surface and you find use of poorly researched and poorly regulated 'natural' chemicals. Free range all the way tho.
-
Vegetarian is old Indian word for bad hunter.
