Obama has not been brilliant, I'll admit. But he has gotten the healthcare thing done, saved banks and car companies, pulled out of Iraq for the most part. And also he is willing to raise taxes on the rich to help with the budget.Bayern Munich wrote:

Perry can't remember what agencies he's cutting and Ron paul is just crazy. Obama is best.

Newt:
2 affairs into 3 wives.
Converted to Catholisism for his 3rd wife.
Fudged some complicated tax rules, according to some.
Name anything else, and I'll answer it.
What he has done for the good of this country is what's too long to list here.

Banks? Those are not what we shouldn't even begin to worry about... We waste billions every day we are in iraq for what? He is doing very little. His main concern this past week was the plan b pill.

When you list the amazing positives from "Newt's" political career, you see immediately that Obama has NONE of that in his resume, and somehow he was good enough to run the country.

I also mentioned that he is in the process of pulling out troops from Iraq. There are only a few thousand left in Iraq. Add: PWNY, why do you not want free healthcare for people who cannot afford their own or extra taxes on the very rich so everyone else can get by easier. Or why don't you want the car companies to be saved meaning thousands of jobs are kept. Seems a bit weird to me.

Also, I'm mad at Obama for the mess he's created within the mess already.

When the government pays for huge bailouts, it's not free. We must pay for it somehow. So the government taxes businesses, which results in a loss of jobs, or it taxes people. The people can't spend money at the business, so there's more jobs lost. The government then bails out a company paying their workers 80$ an hour by taking money from a business that pays 20$ an hour. 4x less jobs. And when people don't have jobs, they can't buy healthcare. Trust me, we wouldn't need to give out this free healthcare crap if we were smart about the economy in the first place.Add: PWNY, why do you not want free healthcare for people who cannot afford their own or extra taxes on the very rich so everyone else can get by easier. You realize that taking capital from the "rich" is taking jobs from the economy, right?
You realize that freedom and responsibility are codependent, right?
You realize that a bankrupt car company probably makes shitty cars and/or is managed by inept leaders, right?
You don't seem weird to me. You seem naive.

Rob Paul or hermain Cain(I believe the sexual harrasments thing is a sham) Donald trump if decieded to run, or Jesse Ventura (he said he might run and he is what our country needs right now.

Honestly, I can't see myself ever voting for a Democrat or Republican again. Both parties seem to exist only to serve themselves and their interests. I believe there's individuals in both parties who care about the people, but ultimately their political clout comes from their parties, which means it's business as usual. The bottom line is I don't believe either party any longer serves the middle, working, or lower classes, which is the vast majority of Americans. So why vote for them?

I'm particularly low this election year. Yea, the end is near. Our grand republic has long since peaked. We are now in last-ditch salvage mode. Only we aren't, but we should be.
The damage is done. The repair is too feeble. Our natural course seems to have run.
Looks like we are due for the next dark age.
Smoke if ya got 'em.

Religion is a social construct, money is a social construct. Even time is a construct! Yet, they're all vital aspects of nearly every society on earth. It's irrelevant whether class is a construct. It still affects humans. It's a politician's job to serve the people - all the people, not a select few, and not their party.

So was he agreeing with me? Because what I said was that Dems & Repubs serve themselves and the rich, not most Americans. That means they are not serving everyone equally.

Social construct is not the same as socialism.
Class struggle is brought to issue for the purpose of power grabs. It's important to realize who is pitting class against class and why. It is Goldstein's book in 1984 that defines well the purpose of class struggle.
The people that want power divide us against ourselves in a way that the most populated group is behind them. They then use this group to steal power from the "1%", inserting themselves in the vacuum. The social order remains. The middle and lower "classes" are suckered into implementing this power shift, which is invariably a lie. The democrat party is the biggest offender. The republicans are also guilty, but less so.
We are SUPPOSED to be better than that. Our founding documents do not allow for class. We are supposed to be equal under the law. Period.
Your race, gender, religion, income, assets, family... All are meaningless to a proper American government.
Suckers.

For democrats, if we do what they say, we're fudged. If we do what they do, we're fudged.
See the solution in there?
