groupthink is an interesting term did you make that up just now or did you pull from a culture that has perhaps blinded YOU? It must be wonderful to have the market on all original thought cornered.

Thank you, Mr. Stawman for that fascinating display of our cultural differences.
I know it must come as a shock to you that there are highly educated people on every side of any political argument. In my experience, those educated in history: natural history, political and social history, tend to be conservative. Do you disagree?

government in the uk has a load of 'green taxes' as they are called. Want a big engined car? It will cost more to tax, want to drive into the city? Pay an extra tax. There's loads more plus the car tax which we already pay! Some 70% of our petrol/diesel at the pumps is a duty/tax by the governmentKeMiKaL wrote:

Brown I agree with u there, conservatives tend to care more about history and tradition than liberals This country needs more independents and bipartisanship than any one party tho

if you are saying that people who are educated tend to be conservative then yes I disagree with you. That is not the case and I am surprised you would even try to argue that.

I'm sorry to hear that your posting failed. I know it's just one button, but I won't hold it against you if you are having trouble. Try again.

See, a geologist may-or may not be conservative, but they are more likely to call out global warming hysteria for what it is. Political historians tend to have lots of examples of why a socialist government is a bad thing in most cases. It's history. It involves using the past to prevent future mistakes. I'm guessing that's a weak area for you, amiright?
Would you prefer 1984 or Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome? Why?

whats a stawman? spelling son. try again.

Conservatives arent bad by nature, but the current republican party is buttfucked beyond all repair. Thats why you are out there teabagging each other on the capital lawn.

If you are saying everyone who has a deathgrip on history and tradition is a republican then I agree with you. Always focused on some sort of idealized version of what they think we once were. Always looking backwards, fighting progress at every turn. That is the essence of the modern republican party.Thank you, Mr. Stawman for that fascinating display of our cultural differences.
