String theory. True or false? 🔫🔫©
-
Those guys are a bunch of cultists. (Freeman's mind)

True
-
It's a theory, not true or false, just a way to interpret what we observe.
-
Ive been a fan of string theory for quite some time now. I think its among us. I think it explains ghosts, telekenisis, and many other things like our third eye. Most scientists dont really combine the many different aspects that string theory can posess, but i let logic explain these things. And things like the string theory tie it all together nicely. What if neutrinos play a role in the actual strings? I think its all possible. Its the Force. Now i just need to figure out how to control it.
-
True...it's very simple math. Remember quantum mechanics helped get us the very cell phone we use to play this game.

Those damn quantum mechanics always charge when they haven't even seen my car 🙎

I like string cheese

I look at it as less of a quantum level subject, and more of a theory related to the connections between interdimensions and intangible relations of realities of current mankind understanding or possible understanding. I see very little indication that current evolution, and human brain capability, that we could actually use the advantages, if proved, that this concept could provide to humanity at this time. But I know I, and most people, aren't privy to the latest undertanding of existence that the human race has thus far achieved. So while I have studied and contemplated the issues, and understanding that could be possible if string theory became a new exception to current understanding of physics, I feel as though I'm not yet aware of all the data and information relating to it. So while I hope infinite dimensions and universes exist, and are one day reachable, I don't believe a blind acceptance of it could be deemed responsible.

the quantum mechanics can know whatever they want about the velocity of your car, or they can determine its position-- but they can't know both. this makes them cranky, so they charge you up front.

Unless there is a change, and the irrational need to "charge" becomes understood by the whole as completely irrelevant to all but the misguided, in the far more important goal of common understanding and progress of the race, instead of the urges of primal needs and outdated insticts of proving superiority. But that's a big unless. So at the moment based on current understanding, or if humanity becomes exstinct and no other cosmic lifeforms are able to come to that realization before the universe contracts back to it's single point of everything cycle, and everything starts anew... You are absolutely correct.the quantum mechanics can know whatever they want about the velocity of your car, or they can determine its position-- but they can't know both. this makes them cranky, so they charge you up front.

Error. The current universe is not contracting, rather expanding and at a exclerated rate based on dark energy. The everything cycle is broke.

Universe or multiverse? Either way wouldn't there need to be a non-verse or multi-non-verse? If there is oneverse or a universe there would have to be an opposite. Correct? 🔫🔫©

I politely disagree. The universe is expanding yes... But the contraction most certainly will occur again. I don't see how dark matter could possibly validate your point, considering the minimal knowledge of what it even is, or that it even exists at all at this time.Error. I mean including anti matter to your counter argument would hold more weight than dark matter. At least we can produce minimal amounts of antimatter. People aren't even able to confirm if dark matter is tangible... Please enlighten me if you are aware of any research to the contrary. I'd love to read it.

Ive believed, as long as I can recall, that our universe is our own. But that it is connected to a multiverse of every conceivable outcome that could possibly occur within the laws of physics, based on every choice, and action made, or performed, and the ripples those choice make. I say this in the way that this universe is special. Special enough to include infinite other possible universes that cater to ours depending on our actions, and the possible other intelligent lifeforms that share the cosmos. I says this because I feel that our race's trait of being self aware is vitally important to the outcome of what comes of existence.Universe or multiverse? I don't know if I would go as far as to say our universe is vastly better than the ones I believe we are connected to. But that our self awareness, and our freewill that stems from it, have an effect on existence. Because it simply does. Throw your phone at the wall if you don't believe me. Breath. Take a shower. Do anything... You just changed the existence we all share. I'm sure us going to the moon and leaving our impression there certainly changed nearly all the mindsets of people on earth, that would have been completely different had that event not occurred.

Since we don't yet have any application for sub-particle information, we probably shouldn't invest our limited brain resources in trying to figure it out. Those selfish prick geeks should be busy on cancer research, not trying to figure out something that has absolutely no use to us.
What do we care how particles function internally? What the fuck can we do with it? Uhhhhh.. Nothing.

i agree completely. besides, cancers have been cured and/or brought to remission many many times; we know we can do it. if the univers were to contract or implode or the world were to end or whatever, its not like we can stop it. why bother?Since we don't yet have any application for sub-particle information, we probably shouldn't invest our limited brain resources in trying to figure it out. We more than likely have the ability to "Cure" cancer. Much like the electric car the solution is available but if implemented it would demolish the oil industry. As for cancer well nano technology research has already answered many of the dilemmas of cancer, but... One could also try to prevent cancer. You know exercise, drink water, moderate moderation. Sure since the average life expectancy is far greater now than it had ever been we will have a greater chance at some form of cancer in our lives I bring the discussion back to nano technology research and thus quantum mechanics to help "cure" cancer. 🔫🔫©

either way its all bull to me. we'll never fully understand a universe we cant see all of, much less a multiverse or a non-verse or anything else. even if we did what would change in our world because of it? what could we do about our new knowledge? besides waste government funding on stuff that could be used for education or AIDS research or something else more useful.
*shrug* just saying. its interesting to think about but its not going to change anything. -

Yeah your right learning about quantum mechanics has never had an affect on the world. Really nothing has changed in the past 100 years or so. ever had, or known anyone who has had, an MRI? Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a direct and tangible benefit of research in quantum mechanics-- and it saves lives every day. Come on, guys, you can google this stuff.
