If I make it to Salem, I will be capping a Lep turf. He and I always had plans to exchange turfs & before Das came to SF, I was planning on using my first plane ticket to get to Portland for that reason.

I Deleted all the Lep turf I had when I lowered. Figured thered always be a chance for more :S. He was proud when I told him I wanted a turf with his name on it so I'll be taking one.

If people want to honor him, do it by creating a day of awareness where people with similar struggles know that they're not alone and they find out what options they have to find help.
Shake's thread is great but it'll be buried within a day. Lots of people will not read it.
I suggest something bi-weekly or monthly. I also suggest that people are also given links or numbers to professionals (suicide hotlines?). Not many people playing TW are qualified enough to deal with possible life or death circumstances.

Don, online friends are good for comfort and support. Most are not qualified or in a physical location where they can assist someone at a moment's notice.

I've always had leps permission to have a trophy. He didn't know I had to destroy the one I had but I guarantee you he wouldn't begrudge me. Lep hated turf huggery of any kind and would not have supported this.

Lep's memory is now held in hearts and minds, a pixellated circle on all of our iToys isn't a memorial. Lep created and destroyed, the guy was a fighter, and you want to memorialize that by making his account fight no more? Seems backwards tbh. He was all for the bloody battles, the camaraderie, the joking in pal. His name is on the turfs he created, let his friends and enemies alike fight over them. That sounds more like the way he played. We will all leave the game in some fashion at some point, making little memorials to players here and there makes it even more unplayable for the new people coming in. People logging in today have no clue who Lep was nor what he stood for, they should not be held hostage to the past just because feelings are hurt and raw today.
