Interested in reading Fahrenheit 451. The most recent casual read is the Odessa File. Like it a lot.
1984 is great but Twilight is a no no.
However, I can only have time to read Thermodynamics lately. Very very sad. -

Before I became an iPhone gaming addict I read all the time! I love to read - only real books though, not books on the computer. In fact I'd read just about anything anyone handed me because I couldn't afford to buy enough books.
I hated To Kill A Mockingbird! I'm more of a Stephen King & (some) Dean Koontz fan. I also like Michael Crighton! However C. S. Lewis has some awesome books (not just The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe series.). I also like Zen & The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, as well as The Dancing Wu Li Masters. -

Darkness/witchblade are cool. Check out dan abnett, his Durham red series are pretty good the first I ever read he also did a couple for GW which aren't that bad.

I still like to find time to read between family friends and TW. It feels good to escape normal boring life. I could get more reading in without TW but I I've read all the books in the house. And we have 4 bookshelves and 3 boxes full of them. My family reads a lot. Can you tell.Scroobius Pip wrote:

Don Jasp-ask friends to loan you books, hit up used bookstores (and sell them back when you're done), and use the library. You can also ask for books for Christmas & birthdays. Those are the only ways I can afford my reading habit. Oh, you can also check out freecycle.com. It's a site where you can give & receive free things. People have something they don't want anymore but don't want to throw it out. It'll direct you to the appropriate section for the area where you live. You never know what you can find on there!

I usually don't like to re-read books (or watch re-runs or movies twice.) We did used to have 1 room in our house that was a library. I saved all my books just for that purpose. Then we had to move to a smaller house so no more library! 😥 It was really a pain getting rid of most of the books too! We still have about 30 boxes of books in our garage though. However, moving a bunch of boxes of books is almost enough to keep you from wanting to ever save them! You can still check out the freecycle site; you might find something good.To follow up an earlier post, I hated Catcher in the Rye. I also hated A Separate Piece (or Peace? I can't remember now. I must have blocked it out!)
