Wait, your not making sense or I'm having a blonde moment... Surely healthcare for children is important then?
-
Wow did I read that wrong or is this dude saying we shouldn't have good healthcare? Ok so when I get some serious illness and die, I'll blame him.

You sir talk a lot are the kind of ignorant person that scares the hell out of me. If you think this healthcare will help you're mistaken. Furthermore, where in the hell will this country get the money to fund this? Taxes. Where the business owners will be paying the brunt of them. You thought you couldn't find a job before, wait a few years.Ska Ranger wrote:

We don't exactly need the space program. It hasn't honestly done that much, and it is very costly. It was and still is a solution looking for a problem. However, I don't think we need Obama health care, either. And yes its all part of Obama cutting things we ne need in favor of a healthcare that this country neither needs nor wants

The program was at the end of its life. Shuttles are being replaced with less costly launchers, NASA is not stopping space exploration on the contrary if you watched nasatv you would know.
Virgin did the first feathered flight recently, NASA diesn t need a shuttle anymore

We are not saying HE'S terrible, we're saying his HEALTHCARE PLAN is terrible. You also need to remember that Obama is trying to pull troops out of the Middle East, and his economy is far better than the last year of Bush's.You all say Obama is so terrible but you must remember that Bush had less mental capacity than a mentally retarded chimpanzee.

In the Uk the NHS - National Health Service has it's problems, but at some point the majority of the population benefit from it. Over here we can choose to pay for private healthcare or rely on a system in place to look after us taken from taxes. My personal and recent experience is that it's a great service and we are lucky to have it.

Obama > Bush
That's really all there is to it. I don't know why Obama gets such a bad rap. He's definatly doing better then Bush from and international perspective. And um us canadians have great health care. If you modeled your health care after ours there's no reason it won't work. But with all new programs there is going to be growing pains for a little while. Might take a couple years to work out the kinks. That's to be expected.

Please excuse me if I spelled Frederick Engles wrong. -

True communism is great on paper. Problem is people are always corrupt on top and we've never really seen a true communism in any super power. The ideal government is probably where the officials have power, but they don't control every aspect of your life. The point of this being, though, that obama is moving a little too far left for me.

I didn't get you support communism from your last post...and I'm not a support of it either...because I know it will never truly exist (that's wha I was getting at). It's like this stark trek human utopian future fairy tale I don't see ever happening. Humans all sharing wealth and resources and there's no rih or poor just hamony...not likely. The ideal government is probably where the officials have power, but they don't control every aspect of your life.
