Get the new motorolla that doubles as a laptop!!

Dude all your doing is bringing up the old ps3/xbox Dell/Mac debate. It's just a matter of what fits you

I have never tried a droid but I have no issues with my iPhone iv and it's not even jail broke to me it's easy to use and set up the kinda apps I want to use are in the iTunes store maybe makes me a bit lame but for me it works price is the only down side
-
Yet the retail value of my iPhone will last. I've ha my 3GS for almost 2 years, got it for 199 and I can still sell it on eBay for a minimum of 300.
-
Apple all the way I got rid of my iPhone 4 for a desire HD and it was the worst mistake every the software is buggy and the apps are crap. At least with apple u get apps that work.

What do you mean by shortcut? Web links can be added as icons. I'm curious what this killer feature is that we are talking about here.Ꮂ££Ꮟ💤 wrote:
Not really. Only with jail break. That doesn't count^ You can make some shortcuts on a iPhone

I've had very few app issues. The closed market Apple has is a huge turnoff for me. No drugs and no sex stuff like that. My 0.02 cents
Mama tek, your comment about security. Got a question for everyone who does things such as banking or private business on their phone.
You worry about security on the Internet? Trying to be "secure" while accessing the world web is moot. You are always open to attack. I agree that they can steal information, but so can companies. So you'll allow AT&T or verizon to give you data service, allowing them the right to monitor your activity? -
Brick phone.... FTW

Blackberry Bold=shit

I think my Evo is awesome with android I'm able to download music for free straight from my phone to me that makes the android so much better than having to pay for a song on iTunes. Both apple and android have there fair share of good apps although only app I play on my iPad is turf wars yet theres a dozen I play on my Evo.
-
Another plus for the Droid is that it gets flash.

That's twice you've mentioned you the drug/sex thing Belial, you some kind of perverted junkie? Are there not enough web pages dedicated to those two topics.

And you don't think turfwars would be more realistic with brothels and selling drugs ?

No debate...worked a stint for both companies in undergrad. Prior to the iPhone release for Verizon, the android had significant functionality advantages, but was still an inferior phone relative to rhe apps. Now that Verizon carries the i-series. The Android is not really even competitive. Like comparing Xbox to ps3. Just my opinion though.

The droid has been getting more apps. My main issue is the device itself I guess. The iPhone four is essentially crap. Low stats tiny screen. I got the droid 2 global like it way better cause I can use touch screen+ slide keyboard.

I don't know much about Droids. I have never played with one. I do know a few people that have them and they don't complain. I also will say that the people I know with iPhones that are not regular 3G phones are really happy with their phones either. Just like I say with ps3/xbox, it's all preference and u can't really go wrong either way
-
But can you play Turf Wars on it?!!
-
Personally don't care to have all that stuff on my phone. iPad works well enough for me, hoping iPad 3 will be a more significant update than 2 seemed to be.
-
I have a Droid x and a iPod touch 3rd gen. The only reason I still have the iPod is for turf wars. It may jus b preference but I love my droid so much more. I have to agree android is so much more customizable. All you can do with iPhones is have a icon for something. Widgets make a huge difference for me like my pandora widget and espn scorecenter widget. It may not b a big thing but to me it's awesome

Apple rigidly controls everything. One entity that controls OS and hardware. Very few conflicts, easy OS upgrading, extensive in house beta testing (how'd they miss the antenna issue?). Apples death grip on content stifles developers creativity with censorship. I've JBd all my iPhones and love the versatility it offers, but the OS on each of my devices is not as stable when it's JBd.
Google offers android to many different phone manufacturers and is open source which allows for a wider range of aps with no censorship. That also creates problems for the developer as well as the end user. You have different versions for different devices. They're even talking about 2 different versions of Honeycomb for tablets. Causes a lot of problems when they push upgrades to phones. Google has a tendency to push products out too soon and fixes bugs on the fly.
I prefer iPhone, but I believe once google goes to one OS, cross platform (if they can), it might be the way to go.
-
Yeah. It's all preference. I like the size of my phone better rhan the iPhone. Also really like the os overlay
