Who Hear Actually READS?
Forums › General Discussion › Who Hear Actually READS?-
Does anyone on Turf Wars read? As in books? Just another random question, although I think I already know the answer for most people...

Used to every day before TW. Getting back into it now
-
Yup, avid reader.
-
Yes.

Print is dead.
-
I always have a book with me; and read as much as possible.
-
I read lots a few of my fags are; Neil Geiman's a
American gods. Stephen Kings Dark Tower. Pretty much anything written by Timothy Findley. Anyone familiar with these authors? (aside from Stephen king obviously - I real only like his work with the dark tower) -

I read a book every week or so love em!

Wow. I'm thoroughly surprised at all te readers. That's staying educated, chaps!
I, myself, usually read at least once a day. I was a fan of A Series of Unfortunate Events (until the series ran out of books 😞), and I'm working on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (yeah, I'm only on the fourth one, get over it).

👆Heh, typo.
I swear I typed the "h" in "the..."
-
I'm a big John Le Carré fan. Jack higgins is also good for a throway read. Currently reading about JFK at the mo.

Your thread title is funny and by "funny", I mean ironic and by "ironic", I mean stupid unless you mean to ask "Who listens to audiobooks?" which I suppose could be called "hear reading".
In all seriousness though, yeah I read..when i have time, which is next to never. I'd get a little time if I quit turfwarring. Some day..

I used to read loads... but the ipod got in the way all them games ie turf wars.
I have an hours commute each way to work so I do listen to audio books these days, did the whole twilight thing since they were so popular, then the true bloods, very different to the TV show, still makes me want to visit Louisiana one day. Currently listening to the hunt for red October, basically what ever I can get my grubby mitts on. -
I have a kindle but still prefer reading books. I love books. I read all the time.

I'm sorry, but why do we consider contemporary fiction to be educational?
If you are reading college textbooks or perhaps a biography or the history Rome, ok, that's educational.
Harry Potter???
