Alapaha blue blooded bulldogs, are beautiful and bred in USA mainly, they came about I believe in an effort along with Victorian bull dog and old Tyne bulldog to produce a bulldog of old a true bulldog, same dog that was a building block for pits and staffs, a dog alot overlook is the dogo argentino, they are a very brave working dog,

I have two weims as well. Same age as yours.Weimaraners, I have 2 males. 9years old and 4 years old. Crazy smart dogs, too smart. But they need lots of exercise. Not for the couch potato.
I have done agility, tracking, therapy dog training. I run 12 miles or hike or dog park it with them at least two hours daily. I second the comment. This is definitely not the dog for someone who is not active. They really need TONS of attention as well.
I recommend clicker training from a real professional. Not some goofball at Petsmart. These are sporting dogs. They should stay that way. not a good dog for people who are not dedicated to their pets.

Not to sure mate. I'm going round to see him next week, I will ask him. I call him devils dog! The dogs head is just massive! Scary looking thing. Gonna take a couple pic's of him as I've had a few PM's since that first message about him. They wanna see him. Do you know my mate then? His got the lick cheese to, he told me😉Is it a an American pit or a bully pit? There slot of confusion as u get red nose bullies and red nose game bred....

Yeah, think so, Infact pretty sure, has he got teenage sons? Or nephews that walk the dogs, had some pups last year?what colour is it? He got a black 1 and cnt remember the other 1 too well think black female, I think it's got American bulldog in it!

German Shepherds hands down. You want a nutty dog, though, get a Belgian Schipperke. Pretty, but certifiable.

No, he has no kids, just him on his J's. I thought it was unlikely u see him as he has to walk him between 5-6am and last thing at night due to obvious reason... He has the original US papers for him with his full blood line, plus Ummmm the UK cough cough papers to😉.Yeah, think so, Infact pretty sure, has he got teenage sons? My dogs ended up at the vets 3 times from attacks from staffs/bulldogs.
Every time mine has been on a load, once was just walking on the main road.
They get a bad name for a reason. And that's bad owners. People on here describing how tough their dog looks, like it's something to be proud of? Weird. -
Jack Russell Terrier is my breed of choice. I have 4 of them. Dogs on speed!

I have 2 afghan hounds

Good point but some people need or would like and feel better if they had a loyal trust worthy source of protection around them for a 1001 reasons that they find in a dog of this caliber. If you don't find you need this or find it with in something else then good for you pal. People I know are great dog owners and don't take any risks, hence my friend walks his pit at 5am as I stated in my previous post. His family, friends and neighbours love him and feel safer for having him around especially in the neighbourhood he lives in. I'm sorry to hear about your poor dog being attacked but I'm sure there are more attacks from ruthless thugs and idiots than there is bad dogs✌My dogs ended up at the vets 3 times from attacks from staffs/bulldogs.

Border collies/shelties. I grew up with a sheltie that was the best dog ever. I'd take him around the neighborhoods with me all the time and never had to put a leash on him. He'd always stay right beside me while I walked. Seriously, he was the perfect dog

Sure I appreciate dogs make some owners feel safer. At the expense of those who are killed and maimed by them. Have a look on wiki at the list of fatal dog attacks, there's a list of dozens of children, women, pensioners, all dead. Still, least the owners felt a wee bit safer. Read the list of dog breeds involved. Every one the same. Staffs/ dobermans etc.
And yeah inappreciate there's more attacks by humans. Still recovering from being stabbed last year. Waiting for a bus. Should I just get a bigger dog? Maybe carrying a knife would make me feel safer too. -
Sorry , not having a go at anyone. Just angry , speak to people here scared of walking their dogs. It's a shame, packs of feral benefit grabbing gangs with their tough looking dogs. Peeves me off when I read someone describing how hard their dog looks!
