What is the official minimum Distance to cap some1
-
Depends on how many turfs you have. Someone with 200 turfs can cap someone with 400 turfs and still be outside the reach of the 400 turf person.
-
Good question. The fog of cap distance greatly affects strategy. Currently the more turf you have the farther away you can be capped from. Dunno what the point is and it's pretty frustrating that buying limit and supporting the game can put you at a disadvantage in a way.
-
Yes v just sent feedback about this today. Affecting me big time at the moment. Got some people with lowish inf following me about and it's fairly stupid that I cant touch them.
-
Two things I can do 1) tear down turf so im more slim line 2) drop inf so I'm under the 10 percent. One of them will be done.
-
I think it's mostly ok. It does kind of balance things up for us limit buyers.
-
I don't agree Belial, you dont have numerous players following you around stayIng out of cap range and picking you off in vendettas. I'm not buying turf until this is sorted. What's the point.

Not sure how. If anything I would think it would be based on mob not turf. Not that I would like it to be, but that would make a little more sence if it is in place to create some sort of balance. I guess I just can't find the logic in it. And Knowing where you can be capped from would be nice. Also I can use cupcake to hop miles at a time now. That also seems odd to me, if cupcake is in town I don't need to use a map to spread out.I think it's mostly ok. It does kind of balance things up for us limit buyers.

I'd love to know the cap range on cupcake!
-
And yes knowing where you can be capped from would help. Mob linking is a good idea as it seems fairer to me. Or a standard level for everyone
-
It's real far. Dunno exactly but I was shocked how far I could cap when I tried on gas day. Pretty soon you will be able to cap cupcake from across the pond lol.
-
Actually, to be fair I think that it should be based on the turf that you are attempting to cap and not the attributes of the player. Say 1.1X the build radius of the turf, that way you can cap 122's from farther away than 84's. Then, the attributes of the player come into play during the actual capping -- you still have to batter the turf and win at least the last capture attempt....
-
What's odd to me is both cap range and daily limit. If someone buys 700 turf limit but is very low level and doesn't level up they can be capped from farther away but you can hardly take any turf from them if they are low level. Cap limit should be based off of turf amount not level. Not sure what to do about cap range.

The answer is I'm aggressive I guess and fighting a big(ish) alliance in the Uk called Twfc. Alot of their members have decent mobs and low influence and use mules and small players to keep me in constant vendettas. I wouldn't mind if the capture rule was changed.

Nearly 120,000 fights since 1st June when I started so I guess I can't say I dont like a fight!

Just drop the amount of turf you are holding. Place safety pins and at least equal their turf count.being too attached to your turf can be your downfall. The answer is I'm aggressive I guess and fighting a big(ish) alliance in the Uk called Twfc. Cheers Addi, I think a change is coming to the capture rule but if it doesnt I will have to follow your advice.

Cap range is finely balanced as it is. It doesn't need changing, and gives the smaller guy a chance against someone with higher turf limit trying to swamp them.
If you find it an issue, drop some turf. I did. Get to your "fighting weight" and loose those turf 👊👊👍
-
Cheers for the advice Fluke, I'm sure I'll follow it. And shag you got a few areas by going malarial my capture of Ashford was plain old balls and guts.

True. But guess what. All that additional turf has made you a bigger 🎯. How long will you keep it? 🕛Cheers for the advice Fluke, I'm sure I'll follow it. And shag you got a few areas by going malarial my capture of Ashford was plain old balls and guts.

On a serious note it does balance the game. Bigger mobs need more turfs to support them. This helps keep the smaller player in the game if they get bullied (not calling you a bully). As ickle said. I don't agree with the system as it stands. But there we go, I have certain assaurnces that it's going to change, so we will wait and see.
-
Having a smaller mob than all my enemies I rely on cap range to do damage it has a perfect balance bigger mobs need more guns and more turf to pay for the guns so ig levels the field

Assurances from the very top! Jobless - why should you being a lazy so and so and not putting the efforts in with the codes level us up?
