It was the first one so it was piss easy 😏. I got the second one in March. Hope I pass! 😲

Btw it's actually a real GCSE (at my age lol).
Also, what do they have in USA? Do they have something like GCSEs? -
If anyone says anything like "Stfu troll" or whatever, I've got 27 carbombs waiting to be delivered.

Is it just like standardized testing?
-
Yes its the first half of the functional skills exam. The more advanced half is in March. After that, I will do the first section of IT Double award Gcse, then the second one. The double counts as 2 GCSE passes and the Functional skills is 1/2 GCSE qualification
-
Well, it's SORTA like standardized testing like u yanks have. EXEPT that these are QUALIFICATIONS. You use these to get into University and later a job

GCSE period is studied during the last 2 years of secondary school, what America calls high school. There are compulsory subjects that you have to take like M, E and S. You can also double up as Joey has in which they teach you double the curriculum. Before year 11 ends you sit exams for every subject you have taken. You receive a standardised grade from A*-E and U as fail. These determine whether and which college you get in to. During university enrolment The compulsory subjects are also considered. So basically, how you do in GCSEs determines your further an higher education path. General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). ✌

Agreed... The only thing GCSE's are good for is to enable you to take A-levels.... Once in the working world you can make up what your GCSE results were, no one gives a shit.

But, u mess up on say maths, ur gonna struggle getting in to your first choices at the next stage of education. In fact, most employers these days prefer experience over paper, unless it's a very specific field. Mind you I've been self-employed 4 years now so things could have changed again.Evil Joey wrote:
