Everyone playing on this app for any longer than a year knows what they’re going to get in regards to the quality of the product they are using. You know what the dev addresses and doesn’t address and the typical time frame for which it gets resolved. There are no false promises being made anywhere that I can see. This is a part time gig for Nick and has been for well over a decade. I agree that shot breaks often and doesn’t get addressed fast enough typically. That being said, it’s an app with a lifespan that is unheard of in general. I have no issues with lodging complaints, especially in public forums but in the end, it comes down to you. If you enjoy the game, keep playing. If you don’t, be done with it and move on. Nothing is going to change on the dev’s end and thinking differently is foolish on your parts.

In regards to freebies or compensation for down time, again you need to know your audience. Whether right or wrong, that’s not the customer support model the dev cares to embrace. I personally think freebies are a quick and easy way to smooth things over but Nick doesn’t for whatever reason. And once again, look at the longevity of the app and it makes a difficult argument against his rational from his side. Thinking that something is suddenly going to change is foolish and a waste of time honestly. Again, I’m the first to complain when shit doesn’t work correctly but I’m not naive to the way things are going to play out in the end.
If the game is fixed, go take your frustrations out on the map…or your neighbors cat. Both are going to be more productive and rewarding than bitching about compensation. -

Sorry guys, I tried buying a new set of servers from the local big box store last week but I zoned out thinking about database query optimizations. Next thing I knew I was being loaded into a police car and my shopping cart full of free hardware was confiscated. Can't say I didn't give it the old college try 🤷♂️.

We've made a fix for the range issue where new turf were not registering as eligible capture candidates quickly enough, please let us know via Feedback if you're still experiencing issues.
There is also a new interface for seeing your closest non-eligible turf to an enemy turf in the Turf screen. As always the main capture checklist shows the nearest turf with the most capture eligibility requirements met: in the case when your closest turf isn't the "best" capture candidate, there's now an option to view it and its eligibility by clicking the View button located under the best candidate's capture requirements checklist. Let us know what you think in this thread or via Feedback!
