Is there any point to mobbing up and punching codes anymore?
Forums › General Discussion › Is there any point to mobbing up and punching codes anymore?-
From what I can tell, it doesn’t seem like the game has a large consistent influx of new players like back in the day. And with the amount of inactives, is there really any chance of adequately mobbing up via punching codes? I would imagine a good amount of time would be punching codes for inactives.
If I am wrong then by all means let me know. This has just been my observation from the past few weeks. -
It’s a slow grind

Nope.

I don’t think it’s worth the time. I don’t bother

If you were 5k mob you could be 15k maxed 🔥

I would say it's going well for me atm but I would imagine your thinking on the right path it would almost make sense for the admin to add bots with the ability to automatically add you back once the codes punched but then again may make it too easy 😉

Maybe make an algorithm that only 1 in 3 bots accept the mob invite and the others are duds 🤣I would say it's going well for me atm but I would imagine your thinking on the right path it would almost make sense for the admin to add bots with the ability to automatically add you back once the codes punched but then again may make it too easy 😉

I thought this game was just a number simulator? With copy+paste Kung Fu action? Sometimes, the number on your profile with go up. What's the point if your number doesnt go up?

Temp codes only:
1,000 mob - 6 months.
2,000 mob - 12 months.Thats roughly the return on temps over the last few years.
I do believe this is a process slowing, 1k may even take longer now.
Up to you to decide if its worth the effort. -

This is accurate. Remember though every mob code that’s accepted is essentially worth 3. So that 1-2k turns into 3-6k if you run the event.Temp codes only:

You can play and be effective at any mob size. Its what you put in to the game. How you play is up to you.
And its always worth the effort. The effort for punching codes every is is minimum, maybe 60 seconds. Dont look at your mobsize, it doesnt matter. Just make codes part of your routine.
-
Mob size isnt the point. You joined in 2012? Hardly any missions ran, or loot. Still need to work on your skill stats. And your fights and exp are low. Not even lvl 100 which can be done pretty quick…. I’d say you havent really played the game at all. Mob size should not be a concern right now. Punch daily and work on your profile. Try to get some loot to help you out. At your size you could max the necessary loot easy enough.

There’s a million other games you can play where you don’t have to devote hours to what is basically data entry. But sure, devote hours to punching codes for a game that’s 14 years old and hasn’t had a meaningful update in over 10 years
-
Necessary loot is brens, suits, chainsaws and machetes. Not to mention the refills, maps and hench. You could really be set with 1 anniv event. This is minimum effort stuff if you want to play the game. And work on spreading out which will be much easier with maps from the event.

Don’t forget you need to max out cap skill, stam and energy, probably health too. So drop $1000 before you can start playing!Necessary loot is brens, suits, chainsaws and machetes. Yea I gained 1000 a week back then. Also, the App Store wasn’t as good as it is now. There’s so many more engaging games that update all the time and have fun themed events.℣į₭ϊ₦Ǥ👹 wrote:

Depends on how you view it. Started this acct in September. I'm at 1600 mob and 200 are hench from the event. 1400 mob in 7ish months isn't very much but it's honest work. If you want more mob, punch codes. If you don't, don't. It's slow but, the numbers DO indeed go up when you punch temps every few days. OR alternatively, do whatever you want. Latch onto the forums, go for capos, whatever. You do you.℣į₭ϊ₦Ǥ👹 wrote:

Reefer the problem isn’t with the numbers going up, it’s how slowly they go up. Viking said he got a thousand a week in 2012, you punch and got 1400 in 7 months. He’s wondering if it’s worth it

I know. If you're playing the game to any meaningful extent, then it's worth it. Viking has 33k mob, it will take him years to go up to anything meaningful, of course it doesn't seem worth it to him. Ronin who has 5k, can easily make it to 6-7k in a year, which is meaningful when we're talking below 15-20k. it may be slow but if he's really thinking of investing time into the game then yes it will be worth it. If he plans on kicking about and shooting shit in the forum then it's probably not worth it.Reefer the problem isn’t with the numbers going up, it’s how slowly they go up. I guess I never took the game seriously back when I first started but now I was thinking about wanting to become a legitimate player. I guess how I’m looking at it is back in the day if someone had 30k more mob than you and they started to wage war against you or you wanted to take their turf over, you could punch with dedication and be there within 6 months. But now it seems if someone with 50k mob started to attack me, there is no hope of me surviving. I guess when I say “worth it”, is there any chance I could get into the big leagues and be something great in game without dedicating 4 or 5 years to get to 20k mobUglyladdie wrote:
