Then there’s George Conway creator of the Lincoln Project. Add to that the #NeverTrump movement started in 2016 by Republicans.

I love you guys, but why is everyone getting caught up in thinking the president is the god of america. Its an office position. A job. Some people are good at their job and others suck at their job. A police state? My guy. Only thing happening in the next 4 years is a law getting passed that allows for nap time every 4 hours. And then. In 4 more years, americans will wake up from a 4 year hibernation and elect another... ahem.. idealist. Us americans are really good at doing 2 things. Ignoring other peoples problems, and blaming other people for our problems. I think.. now this is headcannon. In the next episode, it will be italy’s fault for rigging our next election.

Ok... so they have to prove that they can provide insulin and eppi pens to low income people to get their grant money back... i dont see how thats a counter argument to me saying the president isnt the god of america... People go venomous towards trump for the way he handled covid, and for they things he said. Was it illegal? Mostly no, but hes supposed to set an example . People didnt want someone who blantly accuses others for problems. Actually keeping it real, they got tired of trump acting like a child. Saying he can do whatever he wants. was he a bad president? In my opinion no. We have had much much worse. But. People wanted a president not another business owner only looking out for other big businesses.

To answer you question get another job adapt and overcome. Don’t wait until it’s officially shut down to start looking for a job. Theirs thousands of other oil refinery jobs that they can get or find something else to do it’s part of life. -

I feel like you have a vaild point aug, but at the same time i feel like you are also wrong. This is all just pure opinion, but i think we are more likely to goto war when we have a republican president, but on the flip side i think democratic presidents are more likely to do bombings and tend to focus on other countries affairs. And i also think the focus of the environment is often a scape goat. Is fracting and mining bad? Yes, but i think the whole save the environment agenda is a bit... over played. Yes we do have a negative impact on the planet, but i dont think we as humans are that important. The earth is gonna do what the earth is gonna do. We are still comming out of an ice age. People want to freak out about global warming and its like dude. The planet is a big fucking place. The ice is going to melt. It was always going to melt. Have we sped up the process? Absolutely. But in the grand scheme of the universe we are specs. Like i said earth gonna do what earth gonna do. With or without us.

The democratic party in my opinion tends to aim for goals that are either unrealistically out of our control as a human race. They should be setting goals that they can actual achieve and complete. Something that will have positive effects in our life time. What about our kids oh my god the kids? Motherfucker what about us?! There aint gonna be no kids if we dont help us now. Work on social reform, work on fiscal improvements, but the environment argument only hurts the working class and further divides the classes. We have 1 metric fuck ton of oil and natural resources we could be exporting to improve our current situations. When we have republican presidents gas prices plummet because we are actually producing someone for once. Instead of increasing our national debt to further unfathomable heights. Anyways. My opinion.

Take obama for example. He spend his ENTIRE first term trying to pass a mediocre health care bill that actually made things worse for poor and working class members. 8 years later it got removed. Like wow.. so glad you WASTED 4 years as a president instead of doing something to better our nation. And then his last 4 years he stopped giving a shit and just used executive orders to bomb other countries for reasons that were more or less none of our concern. Was siberia gassing their people? Yes. War crime? Yes. Did litterly anyone else in nato give a fuck? Nah. So why did we make it our problem. All we did was ONCE AGAIN piss off other nations because we HAVE TO be the fucking global police. Thats not how any of this works.

The Repub & Dem parties used to have a really defined difference- Dems leaned towards nationalist oversight where laws, regulations are adopted by the majority of will accross the nation.
Repubs leaned more towards local rule of law (states) with Feds only involving themselves in critical national needs- defense, Bill of rights, essential items for survival of the nation.
I’m not sure either stand for what they once did. It appears in my view they lean towards whatever gets them ahead in polls today is what they stand for and then lay down a ton of backspin to get it to fit a party narrative.

@Step off: a couple of facts you might want to check... in the US, gas prices were at their highest during Bush's term. I dont believe Obama was in favor of fracking, but fracking expanded during his term, which drove oil prices down.
Second, the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) is still the law of the land. The tax penalty was eliminated for those who choose not to have health insurance coverage.
