It was democratically determined after long, public discussions that God is simply a construct of human societal evolution. The concept of the supernatural father figure, while extremely useful for controlling and motivating the masses, is not factually real.

I haven’t read that, but I’ve certainly read the bibbles. I thought it was a little dry, even with the rape, incest, kidnapping, slavery, and blood, blood, blood everywhere. I spent several years in my youth obsessed with it, so I do understand the pull. It’s absolutely amazing how the human mind can contradict itself so thoroughly and still maintain a false sense of harmony. Absolutely fascinating. -

I’m not suggesting science has anything to to with religion. I’m just inviting us to ponder what a large group of educated, reasoned, and logically disciplined people might personally believe when it comes to supernatural beings if it were put to a vote.
