I unjailbroke my iPod after it started breaking. Won't do it again.

False. Cydia has updates for devices before 3GS that apple won't do anymore. They make it stable. The jb community more helpful than apples techsupport. Never have I had problems, this coming from a idevice user of 3 and a half years of jbsmr joble wrote:
Yes, as long as you can restore it. If you can restore it, why do you take it to Apple? You can't say that jailbreaking has never cost anyone $700.Brown Zombie wrote:
That's bollocks you can always restore and apple will never know u keep ur warranty support ectI did it once and then put it back. I have all the apps I want already, and tricking out the skinz is for kids.
Jailbreak=save money and other things you don't need at the expense of a relatively stable platform.

I'll say it now. Jailbreakung is possibly the best you can do for your device. You unlock the beast within.
BUT, if you don't know how to tame the beast, you get scared and want it in the original form. What I am saying, if you get too greedy and get all these useless things for your device and you don't know how to maintain it, of course you gonna see problems.

I laugh at those ignorant non-jailbroken fools. I just laugh...

Backgrounding can be done with non JB phones now. But thanks to JB, I can run 4.1 and kill backgrounding.TheRamb Add: 86 wrote:

These are the guys with No2 and giant rear spoilers on their Honda Civics.
But the best part is when they think they are experts because they can click on a pineapple.
They are so proud of their pineapple clicking ability that they look down on those of us that consider it a pleasant diversion, but none-the-less pointless and not worth the additional hoops that need to be navigated.
I would no more jailbreak my phone than install Incredimail and Windowblinds to my work PC. Nor would I waste any time with a Hackintosh.
So pack up your "I is smarter than you cause I can click a button that lets me make my phone PURPLE! (can you believe it!)" Next you will be guarding the secrets of UTF characters and upside down text. OMFG! How do you do that?!?!
Do us all a favor and switch to Android. You know you want to.

You bought an Apple product because you wanted to use iOS as-is. Absolutely fine IMO and 1000x better performance. JB is a memory hog, crashed apps that I bought from the App Store.
If you want to customize, go get a Droid. -
If TW was on Android I would.
JB works for some folks, doesn't work for others.
And really, what's wrong with breaking Apple's shackles? They put themes on the phone. They give you some functions, but lock out others. They dictate that you buy from them, and only them. So why not enable it to select a few more themes you may find more to your own liking, or enable a few more functions that may be more useful to you. Why not have choices?
If JBers are No2 juiced, big wing honda drivers, then non JBers are just sheep following the flock.
Or maybe it's just "to each his own". here are the pros, here are the cons...make your own choice and good luck.

jailbreak.ignore your conscience, spoof to L.V and rampage.no one gives you the consideration of your character, and they don't know you,you are far too thoughtful.do it.laugh when it's done, fuck them,in the nicest possible way,I know you can do it.DO IT

If you want to customize, go get a Droid. That's the fan-boy, sheeple mentality. I bought an iphone because it was the best thing at the time, but it was still not perfect.
When I had my windows phone, I had it hacked. Same with my PCs. I'm no hacker. i'm no script kiddie. I'm not a programmer, but I do know enough to change a few things here and there, but not enough to to run something like linux.
And JB is more a memory hog than non JB. It's all in the way you use it. I have MORE available memory after JB than I did before, and I have yet to experience a crash or a bug.
