After a long battle with cancer our old friend lost the battle earlier this spring.
Mike stayed positive that he could beat it again until the end.
If you lived in his pants you'd remember that he was a great poet in his spare time.
In life he was everyone's friend, a family man and very respected in his profession as a lawyer.
I remember OTB as a great listener I could confide too.
How do you remember him? -

omg I can't believe it. me and the wearer of the pants I lived in go back to when I was just starting. he was a cracker to talk to but also a caring gent when we discussed personal stuff. so saddened by this post. rip otb peace out my brother and thanks for all the great chats and advice on life✌

I redownloaded this app after all of this time to say RIP to OTB. Cracka had a look at his FB profile and discovered he had passed. Only he and Mav had him as friends there that we know of, hence the time it took to know this happened.
OTB brought so much to this game during his time - especially socially. He was good natured, so funny and quite the poet. And for those of us that cut the TW cord, we don't forget the impact that so many have made on our lives - especially those that were able to keep things in perspective. Because let's be honest, many of us spent/spend almost more time here than real life for many years.
That said, you'll never be forgotten, OTB, by many of your virtual friends. You were loved and the world is less without you. I hope you have two thumbs now. ✌🏻❤️

Damn. Now that is a real shame. I suppose I will always remember him as just being a really good dude. One of those rare personalities that everyone seems to like.
Oh, and also for having like 4K brens back when that was a huge deal!

RIP OTB! I was waiting to see this thread. OTB passed away in March, very sad to see him go. When I spoke to him in February he wrote about how he thought the next day would be beautiful. I hope he enjoyed all of those days until the end. Such a great guy in game and out. Funny and talented, someone who will be missed. RIP to the one and only ‘One Thumb Bastard’ 👍

Oh man. We tried to get together once when he came out to So Cal. Didnt work out.
I'm at a loss.
The first time I ever capped him, he calmly moved his turf away. Had some great conversations.

🥃🥃🥃🥃I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I got to enjoy a few nice single malt scotches with Mike on two different occasions while he was out my way. Mike was a kind hearted gentleman and an artful storyteller. He will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones that remain behind, and to everyone whose lives he touched. RIP OTB. 👍🏻😔
