Do understand when you are in a war like that it almost takes over your life. That's why you will not see war like that very often. Just ask bugs you need a break after an operation of that nature. Wars will come again you just force these things.

Sorry supposed to say you just can't force these things.

I agree with Tom Servo.

Lol most recruitment factors for these alliances have nothing to do with personality. Anybody can join if they meet mob requirements... It can kind of dilute a major personality type in a large alliance.
Just because you have a big mob doesn't mean you will be accepted or invited into Desert Rain.
You must meet our philosophic agenda as well. In fact, that is number one. You don't meet that, we don't care what your stats are.
...also timed played. Knowing others and others knowing u helps in this game due to the community aspect of TW. Having a knowlage of others alone will help u find the crew that fits your own personality, and allows others in crews to know how u play.

It's only been a month since the month long CMS/GC3 & ECS war. I was worn out after that & glad it was over. Are you bored ripd? Personally, I'm not bored at all. I'm enjoying hopping. I think the majority of players that have said they are bored is because they are stuck. (Although it sounds like Belial got unstuck today.)
Charlie - Hydrochaz never got to do much in the Vegas war. He got banned for spoofing before he really got to take part. I gotta say, I do NOT miss hydrochaz!

Actueally, the there was a mini-vegas-hydrochaz war before the big Vegas war. Chaz kept calling for war, and he got it. Some heavy hitters in Vegas showed him what war was like. two hours later he was begging for mercy.
He did join a V against me in the Vegas war. And when I showed him how bad that decision was, that's when his turf in Vegas disappeared and popped up in NJ.

Well put (with the *can't). Wars--real ones--are exhausting. And then there's a considerable amount of clean-up afterward. Yes, they are fun! But they happen in their own time and you should, perhaps, focus on expanding your game territory-wise if you're that bored.Do understand when you are in a war like that it almost takes over your life. This might all be said, but in iMobsters (I use iMibsters as a reference a lot, it seems.), Mob Families (Alliances) are the biggest factor in the game. The terms and conditions were typically the same, but the players and goals are always different. There was one Family called 🎯HATED🎯 that lived to piss people off and have fun doing it. There was another called 🐯The Fam🐯 who's goal was to bring peace and happiness to the game. They were the most different groups from the regular Families. Most others were similar, and then there were very strange groups, like the High School, a secret undercover organization designed to stop bullies. In short, there are differences in many Families, but the regular tribe is always there and growing.

Well I have lupas for my mob, I just don't have enough mob. I do my best :)Howard wrote:
Go Howard that's my take too! Shame u have no weapons though 😪If I'm honest, I'll never join an alliance that is all about peace and prosperity. The only time you'll see me in an alliance is when the alliance is about making war all the time, regardless of the mob size. In my eyes if your influence is high enough for me to cap, and your not helped by the don then your fair game.
In all honesty this is the best way to help newbies, to force them to grow fast. -

I guess you weren't paying attention to the CMS vs Gc3/Ec3 war then. CMS will not shy away from a battle regardless of the odds. If you look at the individuals within each alliance you will find the differences in them. I think Bella hit the nail on the head with her statement that like minded people tend to gravitate toward one another. No I'm not anti alliance. But from what I'm seeing, no alliance is willing to take any action. What I'm seeing is alliances are gigantic noob shelters. I'm saying that we should encourage more wars to give alliances some purpose other than being giant noob shelters. Because quite frankly, and I think a lot of people will agree with this, it's boring when everyone is afraid to fight.
-
Much like Desert Rain, CMS encourages individual growth. We try to structure that individual growth in a way that will also benefit CMS as a whole. I do agree that power and influence are significant under tones for most alliances. However, each of the alliances attain that power and influence in very different ways.
There is more to Turf Wars than just taking everything within your range. There at advantages to allowing other individuals, and alliances for that matter, to grow in a particular area that is controlled by you or your alliance.

Most of the longstanding alliances out there were started by veterans who understand that it is paramount that new players continue to experience success and growth. Without the influx of new players TW is doomed to fail. That's why any alliance worth it's salt will protect and nurture new players. That cannot and should not change!
CMS has a minimum mob requirement that serves as a motivator for new players. If you reach the mob requirement it proves that you are more than just a casual player and will most likely remain active and a positive contributor tonour group.
-
I'm not saying forget the noobs. I'm not saying that at all. But when you do nothing else but help them, your more of a noob shelter.
-
I don't think that there is one alliance out there whose sole mission is to protect noobs. That may be a main focus but not the only focus.
It's certainly not our main focus.
War comes from expansion and occupying territory that multiple people have interest in controlling. CMS is always looking to expand and will eventually encounter resistance. Then there will be war.
-
That being said, not every territory that CMS is occupying do we control. Houston is a prime example of that. I, being a native Texan, would like to spread out in Texas. I talked with Attrition and Mystery and I now have turf in Houston and the surrounding area. I help the local economy and there is no threat of war. I still gain from being there as do they.

Well said as always Nate

Just because an alliance is not at war doesn't mean it is doing nothing else.
