Best screaming baby remedies?

It's been a few years for me and I just had to go for a 30 minute drive to put my newborn to sleep. Does anyone have other ways they have used to put their screaming kids to sleep?

i agree with the liquor remedies, especially once they start teething. i was told as an infant i had to be taken for drives also.

Liquor? What the hell is wrong with you people? Use NyQuil instead.

My daughter wouldn't stop crying until i threw a blanket over her face. The babysitter thought i was nuts until she tried it.

There's actually a warning on the package telling you that it is not intended to be used to help children sleep. ✋. No Saba bullshitBenadryl ...

Exactly. I hope these people suggesting you sedate your baby with drugs or alcohol aren't actual parents. There's obviously a reason your baby is crying, so you job as a parent is to find that reason and satisfy their need. Newborns don't require that many things so the list should be rather short and you will know their different cries for their different needs. If all else fails PM me and I'll send you Saba's cellphone number and you can call and ask her. 😜😜😜ฅຮอศརຮƴ♆яїн♆ wrote:

... My two kids survived my parenting, nothing that in depth therapy won't resolve when they're adults.

Co-sleep. I get sleep, she gets sleep, hubby gets sleep. Everyone's happy. :PIt's been a few years for me and I just had to go for a 30 minute drive to put my newborn to sleep. Does anyone have other ways they have used to put their screaming kids to sleep?
Also white noise and a swing. 😁

We didn't get a swing for this one. Our second kid hated the swing so we got rid of it. 😕Robo37 wrote:

The best remedy that my wife and I found was to not have any kids. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Worked in a daycare for some time. And if they weren't hungry or tired or hurt this is what I did.
-Told the baby to be quiet very politely "please be quiet" "shhhh" (actually works in a normal voice I have no idea why)
-Fake Crying (had one baby who usually started laughing)
-walking around holding them
-walking around bouncin up and down slightly
-circles on their back with your hand
-doin a slow waltz holding them
-wrapping them up in a blanket
-rubbing their feet (bad shoes like flip flops from parents usually)
Or a combination of these.
These all have actually worked for me. If it's your child and they cry for no reason I'd take them to a chiropractor- my little brother cried almost nonstop for a month and a half after he was born until we took him to get realigned (someone else told my parents they thought that person was crazy) apparently it put pressure above his tailbone when he sat and put pressure on his lower back when he slept needless to say if it's a reaccuring thing it's worth a try. -
Puppy,monkey,baby.

I like to just rock my baby. That always works

Put the baby in a car seat and set it on a running clothes dryer, works a charm.

Chlorophorm 👃🏻
