Capping Inactives: A Big Deal.
Forums › General Discussion › Capping Inactives: A Big Deal.-
So i have been rudely reminded that inactive players' turf should not be capped.. What's the deal? Bigs will take them anyway. And who else am I supposed to cap? Mickey Dunn? Nexx Nomad?
Get real.
I should be free to cap who I want when I want just like you bigs without having to suffer income loss by bullies like Mystery.
I don't even have thirty turf to my name...
Absolutely petty.
I see why there's so many inactives my size now. Being manipulated and bullied into submission doesn't make a game fun. You think that's some sort of structure?
Yeah sure.. Structured oppression.
-
Why would you want to cap inactives when you can tax them and not have to listen to them complain about it. Plus the more players in an area increase the money you earn on your turf.
-
Also, how is it that a player with more than ninety times my mob count can cap my turf? That just doesn't seem right at all.
-
Burn any and all turf you want Dha.

Dharonius says:
Stop capping inactive players? Okay. Show me somone in my league that is actively playing who I can cap. In the meantime pick on someone your own size and stop capping small players' turf & next time you want to tell me what to do at least make it public.I don't see the big deal with capping inactives anyway. Im not adding loot to turf to avoid fees & I'm not "taxing" anyone. What's it to you or anyone else if I cap an inactive? As if you don't make enough cash... Lazy ass... Go out and put in some work like I'm doing and stop rifing off of your past achievements.
I can see why there are so many inactives.. People like you trying to tell people what to do in a game...

There are plenty of active players your size. Why don't you put in the work to find them?
How exactly am I lazy? I guess punching codes, hopping, helping noobs, & answering questions isn't considered work?
-
Yeah I did say that. Had to spam it to get you to stop hiding it lol
-
Then he says he'll report me to support.. As if.
-
You know if I didn't know any better I'd say that these inactives are just accounts the bigs have made over time, and me capping them is a threat because they forgot their old passwords and thus can't get their money turf back.
-
I'm a woman, not a he. Spamming is against the TOS, so if you continue, I will report you. It is my wall, so it is my choice whether to have something public, private, or to delete it all together.

Right...big players have made tens of thousands of accounts. 😂😂You know if I didn't know any better I'd say that these inactives are just accounts the bigs have made over time, and me capping them is a threat because they forgot their old passwords and thus can't get their money turf back.

How narrow minded of you, but sure.. You're right.. No way thousands of players could somehow create thousands of bunk accounts..
Anything else smart to say?
-
Or are you just gonna huff and puff and blow all my turf down again?

You seem to be the one that is continuing this threat. Which means you seem to be the one huffing and puffing.

Why are you soo butthurt? You cap inactives then the income of that area comes down. Is not hard to understand. Just tax the inactives and you will never have a problem. Mystery is a very fair player so just try and learn from this. Many others would hunt you down till you have 0 turfs... And plublic whining like this will not get you any sympathy, unless youre talking about thuglife!Or are you just gonna huff and puff and blow all my turf down again?

Cap whatever you want whenever you want. It's a prehistoric concept to not cap inactives from a time long long ago when the map was more barren than Duair's social life. It was a mind set adopted out of necessity. Now there are lots of good reasons still today to not cap inactives BUT it's not the cardinal sin it once was. Play your game however floats your boat. Just be aware, there are consequences for every action regardless of what you do.

Threat? What threat?
You seem to be seeming relevant, but you also seem to be failing.
Or am I wrong and that's just how it seems?

As far as mystery goes, she's kind of like a honey badger. She goes about her own business for the most part but occasionally stumbles across things/players that get her attention. She can 100% be a pain in the balls once she's picked up your scent but unfortunately, it's one of the privlidges that 6+ yrs under your belt affords you. Look at interacting with her like a purple nurple, it's gonna hurt and look ugly for a bit but if you don't struggle too much, it makes the process go a lot quicker.
-
You've seen what they mean it seems. Just play clean and not mean.

See, Mystery, nor anyone else for that matter, ever bothered to tell me there was history to this practice, and now I understand better.
-As far as I could tell- it was just the big players with thousands of turf telling me I wasn't allowed to cap turf for my own benefit because it would interfere with theirs.
-
I mean.. Is it really hard to step back a second, recognize a new player, and calmly give him a "Why"? I'm human, too, I have lot's of "Why's".
Yeah, sure if I've been playing for a year, I should know these things, but I haven't. I've been playing for maybe three months.
So thank you, Innocent Saba, for graciously explaining to me what the reasoning for not capping inactives is.
Though I do not entirely agree with this practice I WILL RESPECT it as I now have a clearer understanding of what was, and what will come to be if players such as myself get too reckless.

Yes I'm trying to seem relevant! I am so glad someone seems to think that I am trying to fit in with this game. I started yesterday, I want to make a name for myself. Appreciate getting told by someone that is smarter than Mystery, Saba, and Canadian. I would take their advice and stop the thread.

That's a lie. On October 11th I sent you the info explaining the economy & why it's a bad idea to cap inactive players. That info is still on your wall.Innocent Saba wrote:

A shower probably would a prevented that. 😔 -
And as for you, Mystery:
I do apologize for the blatant use of disrespectful, demeaning, and childish language towards you in my attempt to make sense of things.
I am an argumentative type most prone to agitation if someone (who isn't my superior) is telling me what to do without explanation.
I am also a very reasonable type as well most prone to peaceful conflict resolution so long as you tell me more than seven words before aggressively administering your own self-proclaimed-hand-of-justice to my backside.
😣Just use words.. Please?
-
My words: I don't like liars.
-
I was summoned?
-
👆yes, orders have been given to all, to cap you. Sir.

Having said my apologies to the appropriate people in the form of private messages, I would now like to publicly apologize to the -entire- Turf Wars community for parading my bad attitude around like it was some sort of victory flag or something... It was uncalled for, childish, and just as condemnable as any of the things that bother me so much.. Like this turf issue. This stupid not-even-worth-arguing-about issue..
I don't expect forgiveness or even acceptance of this apology, but just know that I have learned several very important and timeless lessons here today and will definitely not be making them again any time soon.
Here's to good company, good people, and lessons learned.
🍻Happy Turfing!
