Capping Inactives: A Big Deal.

  Capturing turf from small active players trying to grow in this game (without a valid reason) bothers me more nowadays than capturing from inactive players.

  There are so many players in this game now that reducing income in an area (outside of real small towns) is hard to do.

  The only people that care about capping inactive are the ones with no money. Once you hit a couple million dollars in this game does money ever matter again ? I say play your game the way u wanna play.

  I'm trying to write up my reasoning regarding inactives, but my brain isn't working yet.

  For the record, I only capped 1 turf from Dharonius & attacked a couple others. When he started acting like a troll I leveled the rest.

  Actually, I'm not even sure it's worth writing up. Players have never agreed on whether to cap inactives or not & probably never will. Most of what I'd say has already been said & I don't see the point in debating it again. Players play how they play. Neither way is right or wrong.

  The only thing I will say is that since there are still plenty of places where the number of players matter, I try to teach most noobs I run across about inactives. That way, if they ever end up in a smaller town where it matters, they understand.

  I almost got wiped out by Hillbilly War for taking 2 turf... TWO! Also how am I supposed to know someone is inactive? Any obvious indications?

  I go by turf creation date and level. If someone's turf was created in 2014 and they're still a low level it's a fair bet they're inactive.

  Send them a message asking if they are inactive. If the reply yes then they aren't inactive.

  I help far more players than I "cap the crap out of." I will go after the racists, bigots, & sometimes the major trolls. Typically if they change their turf name(s) or stop whatever it is, then I'll let them be.

  I do teach new players about inactives. Usually they'll stop capping them & I end up helping the player - I'll give them info, advice, etc. If I keep going after someone, then there's usually more to it (things like cursing me out, rude turf names, declaring they're going to cap & destroy every inactive they can, etc.)

  I don't just randomly pick players to go after though, lol. The thread was posted by a player who only lost 1 turf & wanted to troll. I haven't even attacked him since his apology.

  Stop letting big players act like "turf wars god" it's pathetic! Don't let these hypocrites get to you. They cap who and when they want but push bullsht rules on noobs like some classroom cowardly bully. And there are certain asshole big players who will dedicate money and time a normal person doesn't have to making a new players life hell on this game while they allow other highly offensive players a pass simply cuz it's easier to pick on the weak. That's why there is no challenge in this game unless it's a noob attempting to survive against bullys.
