  You are absolutely free to use any words you like. Of course you are. I deep-down truly believe that offense is never given. It is always taken. Say what you feel.

  But if you go around offending people all day, you gotta expect a backlash.

  I think what's happening here is that you think there's no backlash online. You think you can say these things and nobody will ever find out who you really are. Nobody will ever look at this stuff ten years from now and not hire you. Anyone you hurt can't touch you in this "fantasy" world.

  Be careful with that junior. The people watching you here are real.

  I have to agree with you. I acknowledge forums are not the place for talking trash, as it is so hard to delete it. And my intent was not to emotionally traumatize anyone. I can't speak for everyone but it seems there have been things posted meant to be jokes, crude and hurtful, but still jokes. Sometimes you get burned, sometimes you don't. Just because you're young, does not mean you're invincible and can laugh it off. And just because you're older, does not mean you are always in the right and can blame other generations.

  I'm not blaming other generations; racism & bigotry are taught - passed down from previous generations. Every generation has had them. I simply pointed out a trend I had noticed. I hope I'm just seeing the exceptions though & that Chucky is right.

  You know, I don't think it's racism and bigotry as much as it is 4chan culture and trolling. I feel like it's a shock value / attention whore thing rather than real hatred for perceived inferior classes.

  Also I think they are making fun of the people that say those things and really mean it, the REAL racists/bigots, and they can't imagine why anyone would assume they are serious.

  So, no. I don't think kids are more racist and bigoted these days. They are simply ignorant and choose poor language without really understanding fully how it will be interpreted by the listener.

  If these kids were after attention, then they can't complain about getting it. What trolls often don't seem to realize though is that once they get attention, they don't necessarily get to choose when to stop receiving it.

  Iam, listen... We are all ignorant of some things. It's just the normal state of being an individual with limited perspective.

  What I wish I would have understood better when I was younger is that almost everyone learns more as they go through life. The rate of improvement for a smart-ish person, such as yourself, is quite a lot every year, isn't it?

  What that means is that ten years from now, you are going to look back at yourself and realize how comparatively stupid you were in back 2015. Guaranteed.

  Now realize that a smart-ish adult 30 years your senior looks at you now an says "Holy shit. That kid is a farging rock. What an ignorant moron." It's the truth. It just is, and that's life.

  The cool thing about pushing 50, is that all the stupid shit I said when I was your age was on dial-up bulletin boards with a C64. That's all gone now, along with my embarrassment of it. You will be stuck with this Internet shit for your entire life!
