Again, this is a game and we don't act the same as in real life. My friends and I would never actually call someone a nigger(language, sorry). Our generations behavior didn't happen spontaneously, were raised in it. But we should definitely take responsibility as wellI have seen the opposite. Obviously all of this is anecdotal. My step-son in describing someone tends to use things like "short", "dark-haired". I don't think it is automatically racist to say "the black kid" if he's talking about someone on the team, but the way he tends to describe people it is like he doesn't see skin color or nationality.
Vastly improved over my parents generation.
I suspect the way we raised him was a factor, but he also isn't picking it up from his friends.
In the US we are only a couple lifetimes removed from slavery. The most racist thing except genocide. I expect the next 170 years will see racism all but vanish.

No one said anything about describing someone as black being racist, but when one is expected to do and be certain things based on the colour of your skin, most would call that racist. This may change from country to country, and urban to rural areas but the concept is all the same. Why is that white person wearing true religion jeans and jordans, does he think he is black? You are dressing like a white person today. Your white, you dont have "hops" (you cant jump). He is black, of course he is faster than you. (Looks at a sudanese kid) you cant swim right? Shall i go on?✂️

@ Martin, why do you think using racist language in a game played by real people is any less offensive than using that language in "real" life? We're all real people here; if we don't tolerate it in our non-gaming lives, why would we tolerate it here? IMO, there is no context where that should ever be considered acceptable.

cause it's a war game mys, separate game from rl, that's what it's about.
but Chucky post is spot on -

Because that's what people do. Does it make it right? No. I don't excuse it even if I take part in it. Trash-talking is a part of online gaming. Screen names hide identities so you can get away with things you would not do in person. The line between acceptable in a game vs. life is different for everyone. For you, neither is acceptable. Which is fine. American wouldn't give two shits if I called him a "pussy-bitch-cock-mongler-with-Down-syndrome"@ Martin, why do you think using racist language in a game played by real people is any less offensive than using that language in "real" life? I really like where these topics are heading. Good ideas being discussed. We're all hypocrites! Celebrate the one of many things we have in common!

Wait back up! You guys aren't using your real names here? Wow I didn't know we weren't suppose to do that. I thought Coolio was the rapper and Martin99 was a guy named Martin born in 1999 (17 y/o). 😳😳😳😳🐢

War game or not, racism & bigotry are against the TOS. If you want to trash-talk without that, fine, then you should also be prepared to accept the consequences.

@ bee ryan I wasn't here but I'm assuming the r-word was r*tard. If we can't acknowledge people with mental disabilities should we not acknowledge other groups of people? Better be careful on who you choose to ignore. It might be racist and violate the TOS. Watch out! Mystery will get ya. She's a stickler on those things ;)

@Śpøókÿ knows how to applaud. He/she included all sorts of ethnicities..... The TOS approves

(We're 17 btw, not 12). I've kept a 4.0 for the first 3/4 of high school, hopefully the last year will be just as good. The only reason I have a smart phone to play this game is because I bought it myself outright. Most kids would have their parents pay it off for them over 2 years. I walked out t-mobile store with my galaxy completely paid for out of my own pocket. Just because some are bad, don't be blaming the whole generation.
Galaxy? T-MOBILE??? 🙄 Oh, the riffraff we allow in this game these days. Get a job. -

I'll take a tuna salad sandwich on pumpernickel please. Pickles and mustard. And a Diet Coke. Chop-chop, or no tip for you.

Come on y'all. This ain't fun anymore. Just put it to rest so we can get back to normal Turf Wars. I don't fully agree with either side. Yes, it is wrong to use offensive language online, I changed my turf name because of it. I think that it is being taken a bit too far though with all of these comments and battles taking place over the forums. I don't want to get into a fight with anyone, I'm just trying to promote stopping this argument.

I never said I called them that. I said that's the word. Feel free to look it up. I encourage you to expand your vocabulary, because apparently you only know it to be a slang insult. And I would "chop-chop" because I take pride in what I do. I wouldn't want the prince to miss out on his pumpernickel

The word actually is "intellectual disability," and the most correct way would be to say "the person with an intellectual disability" just like you can could say "the person who is smiling" or "the person with blonde hair." Trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't actually know because it's an important distinction that I generally don't take lightly.I never said I called them that. Trash talking happens in real life, too. It's no different than online trash talk. I love trash talk. You are a piece a dog shit.
But here's the thing: Ya don't wanna be pointing at your opponent in public, with thousands of people watching, going "You've got Down syndrome!", because there are people with actual Down syndrome gonna hear that shit and you just ruined their day.
I'm sure you didn't mean to ruin their day, but you just did, because you haven't learned how to trash talk like an adult yet.
It's more appropriate to call your friend a retard-nigger-fag in the privacy of your mom's own basement than it is in a fucking PUBLIC forum, queef stain. Pick better words when you are outside.
