Clearly you are biased and ignorant, or at least given to extreme hyperbole. Unless of course you want to give us some specific and verifiable metric that clearly demonstrates that Pres. Bush Jr. was in fact the worst president in U.S. history....Hillary wouldn't be my first choice, but having the worst president in U.S. history as your brother should be an automatic disqualifier.

This is called a democracy by corporation... I'd rather die than vote for either one of those NWO stooges... And I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm an awaken veteran who sees through the shit... We are screwed no matter who the FED or military industrial complex decides to parade as president.

If you want to feel sick to your stomach then watch 'Fed Up'Oh I'm sure... problem is, not enough people are truly awake and give a shit... we are digging our own graves and burying our future in debt... and it's a nonstop cycle that isn't going to stop until enough people get sick of wars and dumping our treasure into the coffers of international bankers and military weapons manufacturers. Besides that, all this red or blue, donkey or elephant, D or R or any of the party grandstanding means absolutely nothing except the fact that your soldiers will be in more wars because you know that a rag tag bunch of Muslims hate you for your freedoms. All the while it has nothing to do with the fact that maybe we bum rush their lands for their resources, yeah ok, I'll shut up, but you can't escape it... it's real... just like the CI(A)l qaeda was funded and trained by us similar to the ways we nurtured ISIS to attack Assad

I was explaining to someone earlier today that we allowed ISIS to be with our backing of rebels in Syria and Libya. You really want to blow a civilians mind try explaining what the Levant is and why the White House says ISIL while everyone else is saying ISIS.

Unfortunately, we the people are way too powerless to change it. Instead we elect celebrities to look good in office, who really have no power to change it either, without risking assassination. So the problems grow deeper, and the Democrats blame the Republicans, and the Republicans blame the Democrats. Then 4 years later we do it again.

For the love of...
It's sad that so many people suffer from these delusions of..I'll call it what it is..conspiracy theories.
Others seem to want a drastic change in the order of western society without even a cursory glance at what real political scientists say about it.
Realize we are a bunch of simple and independent animals trying to navigate modern society. Power is an illusion. As soon as the illusion is understood, power is no longer a concern.
But conspiracy types take the illusion of power and actually build on it and make it even more grandiose and extravagant. Rather than see through the lie, they actually build on top of it.
You're going the wrong way.
-
Its not about extravagant conspiracies. It's about corporations creating laws that best suit the interests of the few at the expense of future generations. It's about the "haves" deciding what is best for the "have nots." I cannot throw a biodegradable cigarette butt in the Hudson River because that's polluting, but General Electric can dump toxic waste in the river and when we learn that 20 ppm is too much mercury or lead, we change the law to accommodate them.

Oh another big "conspiracy"... do some research on the TPP... funny how our own elected officials can't even get a copy of a deal amongst nations, er I mean corporations, that is supposed to be pushed into law before everyone gets the opportunity to read it and understand what's in it... I personally think not enough people use actual "Critical Thinking" when viewing our gov actions. For instance, the recently passed Freedom Act actually strip the same rights from you as the Patriot Act, but with those nice names, I mean who doesn't like freedom and patriots? Well why wouldn't we vote for it

Oh, I don't know, how about: Lying the country into a war, ignoring CIA warnings that led to 9/11 and the subsequent war in Afghanistan, resurrecting Reagan's disastrous trickle down economic policy, turning a budgetary surplus into a massive deficit, authorizing torture, dumbing down political discourse in America, the Great Recession, etc. That good enough for starters, skippy?jimmy big-balls wrote:

Bernie Sanders 2016 - best bet! Most Americans agree with Bernie on the issues - problem is most Americans don't know who he is or what all he stands for - please do your research! Personally, I'm all about Bernie but we need to get him to beat Clinton for the Democratic nomination! Check out the candidates and please do your research - I would love to hear a real educated person's stance against Bernie. All I ever hear are non-educated/non-researched people talking trash on him that refuse to do any investigative journalism, it's sad.

GW's presidency just seemed like an idiot being led around by the colar by Dick Cheney - GW sure as hell didn't seem to know what he was doing, and do far I haven't seen Jeb to be much better. I wonder what VP he'd choose if he became the republican nominee... Can't be worse than McCain's Palin choice lol
-
*do far = so far
In general tho, Bernie Sanders has had 30 years in political office, has kept the same stance the entire time, is very respected on both sides of the political fence (dem/rep), is one if the few candidates working primarily for the middle class, the only candidate who refuses billionaire money and superpacs, relying and preaching about public-funded elections and removing big money's influence in elections, I can go on and on but jv think I'm out of words to use for forum use lol -
Screw it, I will go on, lol - Bernie, so far, has drawn the biggest crowds amongst his rivals - also, when polled, over 50% of Americans agree with his stances - as some stories claim, he's the 'mainstream candidate' even tho media won't give him the time of day (mostly because Bernie is very critical of mainstream media and thd influences behind them, big money, ratings, etc) Even as the 2nd place nomination for the Democratic Party, his most-asked questions are baited questions designed to make him attack Clinton, which he refuses to do, as in his 30 years in office he's never run a negative ad...
-
If Bernie would to be elected, he would be the first Jewish president (I'm atheist, so I don't personally care about religion but the election of a non-Christian would be a great thing for the US history books in my opinion. The fact you have to have a certain religion to be president of the US up untill now is very demeaning to the rest of the religious neighborhood, yes even us who don't believe in the concept)
-
Not to mention that many labor unions have come out in favor of Bernie Sanders...Bernie has also repeatedly asked for more debates for presidential candidates - also asking for inclusion of debates including democrats and republicans on the same floor. This idea is another great home run for this candidate, where other presidential nominees are avoiding talking points and avoiding key points the American people want to know about, this candidate answers every question with straight answer and forces others to be more honest as well

Just admit what you said was wrong and move on. You haven't said why he was the worst president in U.S. history. All you have said is you disagree with his policies. Tell us why he was worse than James K. Polk or Teddy Roosevelt. You have no fucking clue what you are saying, other than you hate Bush Jr. If you wanna argue with the big boys, you need to back up what you say. -

I understand. But it's the nature of society. We depend on our economy. The parade of politicians and policy makers are going to be what they are in the aggregate no matter what.
