No there's no way ge would have that many as rare as they are with the reuse flaw

From people's experience...you only needed 2 or 3 maps to reach maximum range on an 84-100 influence turf. I can easily see B getting 20 maps pretty quickly. How many jumps do you think were needed for dead spots?
Maybe Belial can provide some info on how many dead spots he had to cross.

So your saying if you had one you would have used it once, and if it was still available, you would not use it again until Nick fixed it.
Anyhow I'm not one to follow directions, until I can't figure out how something works.
I got one, used it, used it some more, when it stopped working I looked in the forum for directions on it's use - directions that might explain what exactly the time limit was. That's when I discovered it was a bug. -

Actually, I wouldn't have used it at all once I saw the problem until the problem was fixed. I like my turf where I place it. In general, if something is behaving outside the norm, it's best to report it and hang out. Don't want to lose planted turf or worse.

This does NOT solve the hopping issues of the black holes. Apparently the only cure for that is removal of the malfunctioning, thereby worthless, geocoder.
Seems simple to me. -
I knew it was a bug. I didn't use it. As badly as I wanted to get further east.
Maybe if GC3 were still around, I would have had more enticement.

Yeah, but it was a question that was answered in the initial post.
though his "one time use" quote appeared to be incorrect and some were simply seeking clarity.
users spotted this bug right away as players were posting about multiple uses which contradicted the op. seeking further clarification good in these situations imho.

The confusion surrounding the "one-time use" rule is one of the reasons we're not rolling back the database. Some players knew something was wrong but exploited it anyway (thumbs up for exploiting in a free iPhone game!), the honest ones held back.
The real losers in a rollback would be the people who misunderstood the announcement or never read it at all - which is why there won't be a rollback. And because an iPhone can't detect original intent, we're not going to attempt to target anyone either.
It's not ideal I know, but the best solution would have been to not have the error in the first place - which is why we're increasing our QA regimen on future releases.

Well I am confused! Why would turf hoppers rejoice at a very rare one time use map?! It made the game great again for me now it I gone......... If i wasn't going to the states I would reset this is bs!

I wouldn't call it an exploit. Only resason that Belial wasn't already in Vegas is the geocoder being messed up.
I will say the maps would be better used for hopping as they were. They are rarely looted. At that rate of loot to have to use five on one turf, no thanks. They do not speed up hopping at all.
Unlimited use for a specified time period would be a very nice way for them to be used and useful. That's just my feedback and personal feeling though... -

Have them set for 24 hrs. If it takes someone longer to do their run, like due to RL situations, then they need another map. -
