Would marketing revive TW?

  As a player who has played for 5-6 months now, I've noticed its genuinely the same people who play day in and day out. Not that it's a bad thing, it just means a lot of people can be 'limited' to a set play style.

  Everyone has become friends or enemys, most has become allies in some shape or form, which hinders certain aspects of a 'war' game.

  I'd love to see new faces, like I read about gaining 3k mob every fortnight; do you guys think it's possible?

  As far as I'm aware, TW is still the only GPS game I know that is actually good, takes practice and patience and you can actually lose a lot of hours into.

  Has it been discussed before on ways to re-market the game, ways we as players could possibly do it or giving ideas to Nick in order to see this happen?

  Seriously I never see any marketing or promotion of TW. Of course this would pull new players in because without marketing finding this game is totally by chance! 🐢

  I don't recall saying the game was dead, nor did I say we need something new; surely marketing is not a new thing?

  I'm sure this has been sad many times, yet nothing has been done. So instead of waiting for nick to do something, I'm sure players with experience would be able to help with reviews, there is so many ways to get things published on the Internet now.

Until the game can be balanced for new and old players it's never going to be revived. Nicks last shot at getting a decent amount of cash from the game was to introduce the capture skill. Players need to spend big £££ just to be back to what they started with.

  What if we did the marketing for nick ? Is this possible without getting in trouble for not having permission. I have no problem promoting the game and would love to see a noob rush that i heard so much about. So what is it , can we promote the game in our area ? I would like to hear back on this.

  I was thinking the same thing. Marketing is a touchy subject, however I'm sure if we're making no money from it, Nick wouldn't care purely on the basis he doesn't care anyway.

  As for the comment about barely hitting 10K, that's the whole point of marketing... Don't you get that?

  One of the most powerful types of marketing is word of mouth. I found out about turfwars from a friend, nothing more. I don't have the answer about the idea of self promotion. Guess it would depend on what your idea was. But I say tell all your friends and have them tell a friend.
