The game is pretty much dead. It's pointless for new players to join, and there's so many cliques it just isn't fun.

New playa here, don't know jack yet. Oh, and I punch donkeys for a living. That being said, found the game by chance searching Mafia Wars. This ones pretty close.

The answer is yes. However turf wars is fine with or without it due to players who stay coming back
