I'm not sure how one could joke about this situation. Regardless of if the reaction to the verdict is reasonable or unreasonable, the jokes are uncalled for. And to say someone "deserves what they got" clearly shows your ignorance not to the situations but to human life as well. The absurdity and insensitivity is quite disturbing. But hey, I guess that's just how the world is.

Seriously? What part of this situation isn't a joke?
A man (NOT a KID) robs a store while high on drugs, attacks a cop, gets shot and dies, and then the rest of the nation wants to turn him into a saint while they burn half of their city to the ground, they loot the rest of it, and then proceed to shut down highways in the name of "no justice." Give me a break!
Pretty soon elementary schools and public streets will be named after this asshole, Obama will probably turn his birthday into a National Holiday so thugs that don't work already can stay at home and do nothing, and who knows...this man's name could become the most popular name for babies in 2015.
So yeah, the way this whole thing has gone down is a huge joke.

Fact is they are dead, the cops did their jobs, if they hadn't they would be in jail. Simple as that. No 12 person jury is gonna vote to sentence a guy to life in prison if they were just doing their jobs. And back to the real problem, when is it ok to riot, loot, and burn buildings to the ground, just because you don't like what people have to say?
