The flight crashed in Ukraine. Authorities fear it was shot down by either Ukrain or Russia. Thoughts and prayers for the people on board.

People are speculating over whether it was shot down by Ukranian forces or it was bombed by a terrorist on board - 23 US citizens were on board. Either way it is a tragic event with possibly severe repercussions internationally. But for now I simply give my deepest condolences to the relatives of those killed and can only hope that the over 300 deceased are in a better place. R.I.P.

They haven't confirmed who shot it down. Ukraine is saying it was terrorist who shot it down. They were only 18 miles away from the Russian border.

I heard the pro Russian Separatists had shot down two planes this week, and they have shot a couple of troop carriers down recently. The plane was flying east, from Holland, too.

There were 154 Dutch passengers on board. Everything points out that it was those Russian separists. They took over a military base not long ago. So they have the equipment. Also it wasn't a bomb. It's already confirmed it was hit by a middle from the ground. When the plane went down some Russian rebel general out on Twitter that they had taken out a military transport plane from Ukraine, but Ukraine said none of their planes went down. It's quite obvious who did this but now the dirty game starts. Ukraine points at the rebels and the rebels make up excuses and point to Ukraine. Russia will back up the rebels who as I just heard confiscated the crash scene. (What do you think they do there?). It's a tragedy and my thoughts go out to the family and friends of all the unfortunate victims 🙏

Pilots of the Airline were warned back in April not to fly through the zone as it was a potential warzone. They flew through it to save money on fuel even with prior warning that they'll be shot down if they do.

just seen a screenshot of flight paths taken by planes flying over Europe, there was hundreds of planes on the map but only a couple over ukraine
