You realize fracing has been going on for almost 70 years right? The oil we are drilling for right now is in a zone 17,000 feet deep. Would love to hear how injecting sand and water 17,000 feet below the surface has anything to do with your water table at 150 feet.

The CEO is answerable to the share holders who want an increased share price and increased dividends. That's done by increasing profit and lowering prices wont do that. So prices won't come down or the CEO will find himself out a job.
But, following supply and demand, there will eventually be a lower demand in oil. Once oil is abundant enough to be a low price, demand will raise and petrolium will be bought more often. After that, if america can use american oil, the cycle will balance out and create a steady oil price at maybe $75 a barrel

Plus, we can't possibly collect every dead plant and animal, let alone get away with causing widespread starvation in America by using all the pigs for oil instead of bacon. Americans need their bacon.
