Who have I insulted ??
Teachers ? Any decent teacher wouldn't read a book like that to children.
Religion ? A book that tells my daughter if she gets married she must love and OBEY .a story of a man that was written before the bible was.
Cops ? You mean like the ones that are forever being filmed beating black guys to a pulp in the good old USA
Americans ? That get all defensive the minute you call out any kink in there land of opportunity .Lol please

Of course your daughter has to obey her husband. That's nothing! Did you know that if a man is caught raping your daughter he must give you 50 sheckels and she is forced to marry him?
You see? That's the ignorant bit. You haven't read the bible, yet you just "know" it's fake. Please, read a bible for your daughter's sake. You have no idea what they can do to her.
Or are you 12?

I treat my country like my sister - I can talk shit about her any time, but the minute some foreigner does - not cool. See you on the playground, Skippy.

You wouldn't let your daughter read the bible? 😂 Will you allow your child to step out of the house or use the internet before age 18?

Have you even been to America? You sound dreadfully ignorant about it, considering you only seem to believe absurd stereotypes and examples of extreme behavior. It seems like you have some odd grudge against America.

This is a school board that only offers the parents 2 minutes to speak, and they only get to speak once. They don't get to ask questions or have them answered, they only get to make statements. That's fucked up. Not to mention it's a public (government) school imposing limits on the free speech of the people it is meant to serve.
λΙΙuviøη wrote:
These are perfectly normal and widely used rules for public meetings, if not for these rules meetings would run for many many hours.Right after he goes over his two minutes, another woman gets up, also to talk about the book. She is told "If you would like to speak you need to give your address." She doesn't want to, and why should she have to?
-
Also, the phrase freedom of speech is widely misinterpreted. You do have a freedom of speech to say whatever the heck you want. This does not mean people have to listen to you or that you cannot be punished.

Only in America is a widely used phrase in the UK.
Probably because of things such as this incident where a father gets arrested for breaking a 2 minute rule at a parents evening.
This wouldn't happen in the UK hence the phrase.
But after watching the incident it's clear half of you think this was the right action to be taken out,
Which to anyone in Europe a father being cuffed and arrested at a PE meeting would be a disgusting act of injustice.Because we whipped there ass. Lol. Typical , war would have to get brought up ha ha.

I bought a book at a school fete when I was 9 and it opened with a paragraph depicting a woman being tortured in a dungeon by having a white-hot brand inserted in to her vagina. Nobody sued the school, nobody got arrested and I didn't turn out to be anything other than a well-adjusted individual. Kids don't lean behaviour from books, they learn behaviour from their parents. If you have brought your kid up properly, they will have the capacity to understand such moral issues at the age of 14. If you've brought your kid up in a way that they don't know the difference between fiction and fact at the age of 14, you need to have a little think about whether you were fit to have kids in the first place.
In the words of Philip Larkin, "They fuck you up, your Mum and Dad."

Papillon, please be quiet. You're making us look bad.

You bought the book mate, that's a totally different argument than if your child was reading a book from the schools curriculum .
Obviously your parents thought it was fit to read.
I wouldn't want my daughter reading a book in school at 13 yr old reading about wiping up spunk off the floor. Would you buddy.?
The most amazing thing still is the guy getting arrested for breaking a 2 minute rule.
Getting cuffed lol mate that's mad.
What happend to freedom of speech ??? What's next ??
I thought freedom of speech was one of the western worlds biggest qualities. -

But I do agree with u that this book shouldnt have been read without some knowledge or warnings given to parents. Yes there is a time n a place to learn about rape. But was the class that this was read in sex ed? Or was it english? The man was given 2 minutes to speak. He went over.. dont let him speak next time. Arrested for speaking longer?? Gimme a break. the fact that so many are oblivious n think that THAT is justice amazes me. That's not justice. Thats power hungry teachers n officers. -
At age fourteen i wasnt reading porn... I was sure as hell watching it though 😜

Maybe you are reading a different passage. In one I read, the girl didn't say no or do anything to indicate she didn't want to have sex. In fact, it says she clawed his back to bring him closer.Little tip before I go for the evening . Brown nose ? What ever your name is. When your girl is saying NO and your forcing her legs open whilst biting her.
That ain't the norm buddy, take a minute phone mummy for the sex chat and say . Mum run through the rape chat again , don't think I got it the first time 😜👍
That was rape -
Robert's Rules of Order article XIII clearly states that a member that violates the rules may be forcibly removed, expelled from the society by an officer who may communicate the permanent expulsion to the general public.
You realize that the structure of these meetings is derived from this standard, right?
I know you would never let your daughter read Robert's Rules of Order. It's sad that you protect yourself and your loved ones with ignorance.
Heheheh..
