First of all I wasn't asking how excited you were😂
Secondly, you are a hypocrite for believing that I should not share my opinion because you deem it hateful, based solely on the fact it differs to yours. How can I know who will get offended or won't? Why get offended anyways? I'm saying it's your problem that you can't handle yourself emotionally because of something I said(which is NOT an extreme or hateful belief like the one you compared too).
Third, you should feel stupid for believing something with no logical or scientific reasoning only because it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I would recommend drugs or alcohol instead of false promises. -

I do believe in an afterlife, but I don't look forward to death. While it will definitely have its advantages (I'll get to see my brother again), I'm satisfied living my life here for now. I don't fear death, though; I know it will come in its own time. In the mean time, why waste the life we have?

Secondly I didn't bring up the racist comparison, and I used the homosexual example to show you that is no different than what you're currently doing. Once again, where is the hypocracy? Now to top it all off I didn't seem it hateful because it differs from mine, I seemed it hateful because you're making a mockery of it and laughing a people who believe in a "sky daddy" as you referred people's god.

I don't see why you even want to speak about your beliefs with an outsider. Christians especially seem over eager to discuss their beliefs with anyone who will listen. Even those with drastically opposing beliefs. If you have a right to your beliefs then you also have a right to keep it to yourself. It's no one else's business.

Giving offense isn't the same league as lying or stealing, but most people will agree that there is at least something morally questionable about offending other human beings. Since mocking religion can reasonably be expected to give offense to believers, isn't it immoral? Accepting this principle entails treating as immoral anything which might be expected to offend someone, and is there anything that won't offend some hypersensitive person out there? Moreover, if reacting with offense is claimed to be offensive to those doing the original mocking, we would be caught in an endless loop of censorship and accusations of immorality(exactly what you are trying to do, prove my actions and opinions are immoral).

Giving offense may be morally questionable, but it can't be immoral enough to demand that the state forcibly stop it. No one has a right to never encounter anything which might offend them. Most people probably recognize this, which is why we don't see calls to punish those who say something offensive in the context of politics.

Mayhem you're good with your words but your comprehension a seems to be where you falter. See I'm not hypersensitive and this didn't offend me. Not to say it didn't offend or could've offended someone. That's not what I'm getting at. The whole point was to get you to understand that what you said was unnecessarily rude and one sided. It didn't benefit the flow of the thread, instead it took it into a whole other direction. It was said with intent to poke fun at believers of any religion but the question still remains of for what purpose did you bother writing it? It wasn't just to share your opinion because you seem like a well written person, not illiterate by any means. So you know you could've come across in a much more respectful and not so annoying way. Yet you willfully chose not to.
