1. Company man. 300k+ (needs a lot of exp)
2. Mud engineer. 800/day. Can be certified in 7 weeks for 12k
3. Directional driller. 550/day. Zero exp needed.
4. Solids control. 350/day. Zero exp neede.
5. Mud logger. 250/day. Zero exp needed. -

Someone who has been debating very hard has it already. I don't want to put the name out there. Hopefully in a min or two they will acknowledge they have it. And btw, those numbers above are just for contractors, not manual labor floor hands. Floor hands are usually the lowest paid out there.

The employment page on the site you sent me says minimum 3 years experience for the only position they are currently hiring for, Mack. And I'm pretty sure a mud logger needs experience and possibly even a bachelor's. My buddy with a bachelor's in geology has worked on and off as a mud logger.

Call tomorrow. The guy that hired me has asked if I have any friends cause they need hands bad. Call and say you're doing a paper for career day or something like that. See what tey say.

That seems off. The lowest paid there and they are the only one that require a degree....?

I could be wrong about their pay. I've never really asked them, but I've heard $250 a day. I've never seen one with a decent car either :-/

I think the shitty car phenomenon may just be a geologist thing. I've know several, all making six figs, all pushing buckets.

I think I'll ask this yet again since you keep avoiding the question. If there are so fucking many jobs there, why doesn't your girlfriend get off my dime and off her lazy ass and get one of those 300 jobs?Better yet, drive down I-20 from midland to Odessa. Not exaggerating that there are 300 companies needing workers. My gf and I counted like 65 help wanted signs one day. And if mcdonalds pays $14/he to start, I imagine those other places are paying a lot more. Don't tell me their aren't jobs. During this recession I've gone from $1000 a week salary to 22/hr to 28/hr to 32/hr and now 390 a day. Hard work and a willing to sacrifice got me here.

What, your company is in oilfield services and isn't global? That itself is an interesting phenomenon. But the fact remains, I live in America, I have related industry experience, and a degree. So give me some info and I'll find out what they can offer me.λΙΙuviøη wrote:

Doesn't want or need to I guess. More reason to overhaul welfare. I knew you'd come around to the good side Addi. Thanks!

Hysterical. 😂 I think you've been asked this a few times but do you fact check any of these things you and your oil rig cohorts dream up? Or do you think it's more fun to wank each other off and high five with "yeah man, you're so right!" And call it good? Rofl. You are indeed a hot mess.To all 👆 people relocating to Texas, welcome to lower taxes, better schools
(Side note for those reading this - take note that Texas edu board writes and sells their text books to have the country - mostly red states. You know the same states that have inferior education to blue states that get their texts from Cali. Watch "Reviosionaries"...it's intriguing. 👍)

There it is, right there. "[She] doesn't need to [get a job]."
Why doesn't she need to get a job? Is it because of the welfare she is getting, or is it because of something else? Like the fact that she has a free luxury vehicle, free designer clothes, etc. All the otherwise legitimate luxuries of sharing a life, or a HOUSEHOLD with a partner?
What's the big picture? How much of her income is welfare and how much is from here life partner, husband, head of household whatever? Is it really the welfare that is the reason she doesn't work, or is it you not claiming her when she clearly is in every sense of the legal definition "in your household", under your umbrella. Even if you don't live together. You're kinda passing the buck by blaming welfare for not being more aggressive in prosecuting fraud, instead of blaming the fraudster and her accomplice.
-
Once again, she is doing everything LEGAL. Is it her fault the way the law is written? Do u think its an isolated case? And btw, she wasn't working when I met her. The system allowed her to not have to work. Blame me? Go ahead. But, this is a lot more rampant than you think.

Naw, I'm on the good side buddy. I care about all of society, not just the people that I know. No one supports welfare fraud...not even the left of the left. We just aren't thick enough to throw out the baby with the bath water over three measly percent. Hell any real corporation (not yours, that's a scam) has more loss than that and they don't shut the doors due to it.★Λddi★ wrote:

Btw, thank you for showing your cards. Even the ultra conservatives/libertarians aren't touching this thread anymore with a ten foot pole. No one wants to be associated with the incredible hypocrisy you display. Obama had something to say that applies to this about Bundy... "When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk." 😂 So, true.
