No I'm not trying to say its not their fault.I'm trying to say that anybody can make a mistake and anybody can get hooked on drugs. Don't ever believe that you can't. You would change your feelings on it if it happened to your son,brother or somebody close to you. I was a good well raised kid until I got hooked on drugs and made a mistake. I was sentenced to prison. Due to no rehabilitation programs do you know what I learned? Not a damn thing productive.

Most people who reoffend do so because the get out without any money and no skills and at first they try to do right but working at McDonalds don't pay the bills and they get discouraged and they fall back on the only way that they know to make money, theft, selling drugs and robbing. There are bad people in this world who don't deserve to ever see the light of day, but they are few compared to the ones that do deserve a fighting chance at life. I'm lucky because at around the middle of my sentence they started offering more programs and I took advantage of them and now I own my own company and I am able to feed and provide for my family the right way, but few people are as lucky as I was in that sense. If I wasn't given those rehabilitative tools I would have went back to crime.

Yes. And then he gets out of prison dirt poor and with crushing amounts of dept. he can't pay the dept, so he turns to the only way that he knows how to make lots of money fast: crime. Thus he lands back in prison, and the system repeats itself....
