Nothing left for me but suicide.

No I am not suicidal in anyway, but in my past I did have a problem with it. I am posting this and you loudmouths who wanna say somthing about my past feel free to rag on me cause I can take it. I am posting this cause I have talked to a number of people on various games including TW as well as real life on the subject of suicide. In my easy 20's I had a very bad opiate addiction. I would barely pay my pills and the rest went to pills. With support from friends and family including my beautiful wife. Helped me to see the bigger picture of what I was doing and how I was ruining my life. I attempted suicide once and was revived thankfully our neighbor is a Dr & my wife goes to school to be a physical therapist & was in that nursing section of school at the time. I am very good with people and I out everyone first before me even strangers.

So I wanted to post this because I see so many players on TW of all ages dealing with depression & suicide is talked about alot. With my love to help people. I wanted to publicly announce anyone of you can pm me, talk on pal or on the phone. I am very confidential and nothing will ever leave what we talk about. I currently volunteer out in meetings and do phone calls for battered women, suicide and so on. And have been doing this for several years. I have alot if tools to offer and sometimes talking to someone who knows nothing about you and you can just let it all out without fear of judgement or siding with on another (case pending) so if anyone is feeling abit down or going through some heave things and been to vent please keep me in mind.

I will drop whatever I'm doing to help you out.

I applaud 👏 you for reaching out to those who need help. Very valiant of you Demario. Your a great person for doing this.
Cheers!

I'm glad people can come together and help others, like this.
Just like you, I've had an opiate addiction. As well as a cocaine addiction. Quit both, clean for over 2 years.
Lost 2 friends, one being my best friend, to suicide and drug overdose.
Depression and drugs aren't easy to fight alone.
I will also be here to talk to anyone too.

Thank you frank & MD. I was a stubborn guy with to much pride, but after I overcame it. I came out in full force to help others. There's tons of people out there that have no support, not the right kind of support or don't know where to find good support. So I figured by posting this. It will just be another tool to help anyone here within our great TW community.

Kudos for your story and willingness to help others who battle with these issues.. A lot of people especially teens and young adults don't know where to turn to begin getting help. 👏👏👏 way to be an avenue for them Demario!

Very brave of you to post this...tbh I think about suicide sometimes but I've never actually done anything. Then I realized that I have a family with MO money and NO problems lol. I've been fine since then.
One more thing, just a quick Q:
Is opiate the same thing as opium? I've never heard of it b4 -

Opiates are qualified under mwany number of drugs. No it's not opium but I may be incorrect here. I put a knife through my hand working on a car a got started on my Vicodin addiction from there. Common opiates as in prescription pills are: hydrocodone, codeine, morphine, OxyContin and things along this lines.Very brave of you to post this...tbh I think about suicide sometimes but I've never actually done anything. As most of us will have somthing serious enough medically at some point in our life to where we have to take some sort of narcotic pill. It's vey important to take only a few of them, and if u have to take then for a long period of time. Talk with your doctor on how soon or when u do come off from them an get a plan setup ahead if time. What u need to watch out for is you take that pill when u have pain. It's when u start saying to yourself " I'm just gonna take one now just incase I get pain" is when you are going to start entering the recreational stages of drug abuse. I posted here because I did have a serious addiction to Vicodin and I made myself a stronger person after I got the tools to change my life for the better.

So I do this as volunteer work because I love to help people. I have tools on so many various things including alcohol/drug abuse, mental/ physical abuse, suicide, depression/anxiety, compulsive behaviors, sexual dependency, gambling and believe me the list goes on. I have tools to both prevent oneself from going down this road, and also tool and strategies for when you are at your worst and see no way out. Some on you may laugh at some of the things I stated hear, but let me tell you this. When somthing has complete control over your life. Alot of times it appears as nothing is wrong because how can somthing be wrong when you feel so good? I just hope the right people see this and feel free to contact me at anytime. If I have ever fought with you on the map or we have became enemies here on the game. None of that matters to me when it comes to things like this. If this helps at least one person then that's what counts.

Also I like to volunteer my time a children hospitals. The car club I am apart of and the main reason I am apart of them is because they support my decisions. We usually hold 8-12 car shows specific to just children's hospitals with 100% of the proceeds go directly to the hospitals I volunteer at or i choose. Vertically Challenged here in Michigan we do it cause we all have families and when you see one if these kids with no hair cause if chemo and so on just smile, and I mean the biggest smile in the world. It makes it all worth it just to see these kids with so many medical conditions always having tests & surgeries, and always having needles poked into them. To give them on day to forget as much as possible about what's going on and jump in a car with hydraulics/air ride or sit in a 8 second car while we rev up the motor. There is very few things in this world better then seeing these kids light up.

I tell ya one of the charities we held that was the best by far. I and a very good body and painter on vehicles and airplanes. We put a couple car shows on to buy this cavalier. It needed alot if work. So we bought it when we made enough money from shows. Trailered it to my shop. Fixed debts, rust and so on, and then I sprayed it white. Well we had the hospitol manage have all the kids ready in a certain day cause once I lay color I have 24 hours to clear coat it.
-
So we got it to my shop and 20 of us went into fixing every aspect of the vehicle. We got it done in 1 weekend. So I got up early one more bing at about 5 am. Sprayed the whole car white, and out it on the traitor right away. Where the awesome staff at the hospitol had all the kids waiting. As we pulled up I bought all different colors if waterborne paint. We let the kids each out gloves on and pick a color of their choice and out their hand prints all over onto the car in different colors. This took about 4 hours. Then myself and a couple other good air brushers, air brushed each one of their names under their set of hand prints. We got everything cleaned up and dove very fast back to my shop an hour or so away and clear coated it. By clear coating it you are protecting the paint colors and hand prints with a shiny coat so the hand prints will stay forever. So I got that clear coated that night. We get the crew to reassemble the car back to complete at my shop and ready for delivery.
-
We donated this car to this hospital, and as I was pulling in with my truck I called ahead if time and hundreds of kids were looking out their hospital bedroom windows with the biggest smiles. It was a once in a lifetime site. So all of us in the club and the staff in the hospitol wheeled out every kid that couldn't walk to come out and see the work they did. This for me is what makes being into cars that drives me. The members if the hospital said they never seen the kids so happy and they talked about it for years. We signed the title over to the car to the hospital to do what they wanted with it. They kept it out front of the hospital for a year and then a child needed a costly surgery. So they sold this 90's cavalier we paid $500 for around I believe $12,000 at a charity auction. With the money they got from that car they were able to save this kids life. This is why I donate my time volunteering in so many ways.

You had me worried for a while.
I don't really have much to say, I've never been suicidal and hope I never will. But I have been around some quite depressing people in my life. And all I can say is suicide is never painless, so don't get that into your head, I don't know why people say its painless.
Either way, you will be affecting much more than you could image with suicide.Anyone want to talk to me, Feel free to PM me or chat on Pal.

I'm glad I posted this a week or so back. Since then I have been contacted confidentiality by many many men & women. I'm happy to say that with just in as little bit of time as a week. We have made very strong confidence, step by step plans, and hours upon hours of 1on1 just working through various forms of each addiction. Also we have found the underlying role in several cases in which I'm happy to announce. Great job to all of ya who have been stuck for so long and needed a chance to get out and got in touch with me.
