Just won a free tint job.
Forums › General Discussion › Just won a free tint job.-
Hello everyone! Just thought I'd tell everyone about how I just won a free tint job. It's for the highest package they offer and whatever % I want. Also I'd like to ask what % you guys have if your car/truck are tinted. I have sensitive eyes and have visited the eye doctor so I can legally have tint. Thinking about getting 5%. What's your guys thoughts??

I really need tint for my car, but not sure who does it in my area.

Area where I live, you get a fix-it ticket and have to get it removed.

I believe in Pennsylvania you can only have the rear windows tinted and they can only be a certain percentage. Make sure you check the laws in your area to make sure you're in compliance with how dark you wanna go.Area where I live, you get a fix-it ticket and have to get it removed.

be prepared to be harassed by the cops and continuously provide documentation you *have* to have tint... 5% is highly illegal depending on which windows are tinted.

i believe it's like that anywhere. i have 2 cars with tint, one is flat out illegal and the other is borderline. in FL you cant be stopped for tint alone, but you never know.

5% is too dark and there your asking for a cop to pull you over. 25% is perfect, that's what I have. I even find that with 25% at nights, it's hard seeing out the back if I'm reversing. Well I mean like I have a super white car. I'm trying to completely black out everything that I can such as rims, tint, exhaust, and car emblem. I'm going to buy black Chevy emblems from the dealership and see if try can swap them out for me.🎶Ghost🎶 wrote:

I can legally have tint also due to how sensitive my eyes are to light. It's kinda just if I feel like getting harrassed.

5% all windows on my last truck. Can't see to backup, almost have to drive with windows down at night. Truck looks great parked but not worth the hassle.🎶Ghost🎶 wrote:

That's what people have told me. Lucky I have sensors that beep and stuff. I also might add a screen into my car and have a camera show the back of my car while in reverse. Who knows. :/ the look is amazing, but it has so many cons to it. -
I tinted my suburban's windows myself from Walmart tint they didn't even warn me that 5% is illigal... Now I don't know how much I have but it's enough that its legal and the car looks cool.😎 Congrats on whatever contest you won!

Wow I read that title completely wrong. It apparently says free tiNt job lol.

I have 5% all the way around. Yes it is a pain in the ass to see out when backing up at night. I would say if would have done it again I would do 25% front windows, and 5% the rest🎶Ghost🎶 wrote:

I recently had my 5% removed and replaced with 25%. Got tired rolling down the windows at night when turning at corners and almost switched lanes in front of a car in the rain that I couldn't see with 5%. We live part time in the mountains and you REALLY need to know where you are turning at night :)

That's kind of like that for Minnesota. And about his compliance to the law he has a doctors um prescription for it. and my truck has illegal tint by far but I bought it that way. And last I checked if you buy it from a dealership with tint you can't get fined just get a fix-it ticket first. I bought mine private sale. So if/when it gets brought up I'll just hopefully have to fix-it and that's the worst.ThatTallKid_ wrote:

Whoever said 5% is legal on the back Is an idiot. ANY tint with less then 70% visibility is illegal. 70% is where your windows come from the dealer and you don't even think it looks like it has tint but it does for UV rays and stuff. Look up the law bucko
