Whoever says X% is illegal across the board is an idiot. Tint laws are state specific. Example: my state I'm allowed ANY tint on my back and rear windows. I can limo tint all my rear if I wanted. Look up your laws bucko.

Pa u can have up to like 85%tint on back and only 60%!i believe on front. Unless u can prove it was done in another state when pulled over like I had a Camaro from Newyork with 90% and I was fine when questioned about it
A lot of states have signed on to an agreement where if you break the law in another state, your home state will hold you to it. Essentially it means that the strictest law holds, unless you don't ever travel. I can't remember the name of the agreement or the list of states, so i guess i'm not really much help.
