Politics in Turf Wars
Forums › General Discussion › Politics in Turf Wars-
In occasion I myself have taken part in politics and respectful dealings amongst turfwars companions. My question is why does everything have to be about the politics of the game. You can't trash talk, cap turf, or wipe someone out without someone that could wipe you out in two seconds getting involved.
-
People having alliances or backing up small players because someone's treating them unfair is one thing but some people try n act like the turf wars police and just end up acting like douchebags
-
all though it would be nice to cap with no repurcussions thats not the game. i dont know all the tags in this game but if i try to wipe you out will someone else with a couple of shamrocks in their name come for me?

I call it the "Bring your biggest mobster to war" effect.
-
It runs just like the mafia did......all about who is connected to who and who owes favors etc etc etc.......

Poor DirtyIrish... U mouth off to another player stating he would be history after ur crew finishes with him. Then some of his friends contact u to squash things, and then u make a thread in the GD wondering why people get involved. Did u think this situation through before sucking ur thumb I'm public and crying about it on the forums? Oh ya, here are quotes on what u said to the other player. Enjoy fellow turfwars!
"Feel better about yourself pussy? Cuz your ass is gonna be history when my crew finishes with you"
"But it's okay we know how to handle pieces of shit like you"

It doesn't, but seeing this thread prompted me to put some info up on why it was apparently made. Turns out u are allowed to threaten ur crew on another player, but it's against the rules to have theirs intervene. Then post a thread without the brief history on why others got involved.

Funny.......
That's the beauty in the game. Put a bunch of people in a virtual world with the ability to attack and conquer and we create our own problems.
-
Well you've got quite a mouth on you so maybe that had to do with why outside parties hit you up.

Virtual or non virtual, this is how it is. The only difference is, in real life those who make the decisions have the title of politician and those who win the battles either have the biggest mob or the biggest allies. Sure there are exceptions but the passion to fight those bigger than ourselves and the skills needed to be victorious are rare qualities.

This game is more like RL than most people realise. It's just more open about it. If you play the game right you can do almost anything. If you don't you pretty much get pushed to the sidelines.
In RL you play the game right you get promotions, pay rises, new jobs, perks. You don't play the game right, you get stuck in a dead end job with no prospects and a hard arse boss riding you all the time.
For the young here this is a great place to learn about office politics, the big boys are the big boys and should be respected like managers. But don't piss on someone smaller because you never know who they are aligned with, or when they may become the boss.
Note: this is not about turf hugging, rather for those that go cap happy, swear, abuse or threaten other players. Attacks, capping and wars are a natural part of this game.

👆 Wise words mate. Wise words.

As usual, wise words indeed

In game politics that's something you need to ask my "enemies" about..................
See what I did there 😂

I agree with everything Hyena says, apart from 👇👇

Lol No way. As in real life I respect those who show respect regardless of position or size. I think by showing that you won't be pushed around is as important to success as almost any other aspect of life. 👍

Maybe I'm think of respect in a different way. You don't tell a manager where he can stick his brass kazoo. And unless you have the right alliances/support you don't do that here without expecting repercussions.I agree with everything Hyena says, apart from 👇👇
