Dirty jerzey is going around being a smartass on GD. Ignore him and he'll go back to playing with his dingaling.

I went to increase my stockpile today and buy some ammo for my AR-15 match this morning and the shelves are pretty much cleared out. Is it like this everywhere?

Yes. My girl friends brother just said all of the surrounding gun stores etc are all sold out of AR. And scheels is having a limit on 1,000 rounds for AR and 500 for handgun per person because they are running out.I went to increase my stockpile today and buy some ammo for my AR-15 match this morning and the shelves are pretty much cleared out. My wife just bought one of the last AR-15s in north Texas that was still under $2,000.

Nothing could have raised gun/ammo sales better than that sandy hook shooting. Pretty ironic isn't. Babies dying leads to reform discussion leads to fear mongering leads to beyond booming arms sales.
We can't get anything through congress with well over 300 filibusters. Barely get a moderate budget through and people are actually concerned about gun reform getting off the floor in this congress. Hilarious.

Hey Greenman, this part of your theory?

Thank goodness for red tape and an incompetent congress I guess. Luckily for me the 7.62 was in stock but no 223 anywhere in the store.....they would only let me buy 500 rounds of hollow point 9mm and 1000 rounds of 7.62 fmj's. Mr Elmore said to wait a month or so and things will calm down a bit........I hope he is right!I went to increase my stockpile today and buy some ammo for my AR-15 match this morning and the shelves are pretty much cleared out. As I stated in the other thread where you slammed Federal workers getting pay raises, some of us actually work for it.
And I just came back from Dicks Sporting Goods, no AR's in stock and only a little bit of ammo left on the shelves, with a 6 box limit per customer.

Brownells sold 3.5 years of inventory in 72 hours.
We have had people lining up at Academy Sports and Outdoors as early as 3:00am in order to be one of the first people to meet the FedEx deliveries with ARs.

@The Man, I'm not slamming federal workers in general. Just the fat bloated lazy oaths that continue to screw the citizen while getting fatter. I'm considering a job offer from OSHA Management. Which is a federal job. However, if I was too invompetent to do my job, I wouldn't give myself a pay raise.....ie, congress.......
