What's the matter with the attack button?

Is it slow for you guys? I heal fast but only when attacking does it pause for a few seconds. It's annoying😔
-
Yeah I get that too. It's usually only the first attack though
-
yep, been laggy for me this morning as well. Attacking at about 1/3 the normal speed.
-
It's gone from glitchy quick to (I guess) an attempted fix which rendered it slow as a turtle. A bit faster nick and ya have it.

It's so bad I can't even cap old man Saba anymore, something really has to be fixed, I am embarrassed at this stage.

There was an issue with the "do again"-type buttons that was introduced with the iOS 6 fixes, which allowed you to perform actions when a current one was already in progress. This was fixed last night, and has restored the attack/heal speeds back to about where they were before the fixes.

It still seems just a little too slow though. There was an issue with the "do again"-type buttons that was introduced with the iOS 6 fixes, which allowed you to perform actions when a current one was already in progress. Doesnt seem laggy to me more like there is an enforced pace.

Definitely not back to the attack speed prior to IOS 6. Much slower. Like Viper said the new glitch made it much more efficient for capping with the bonus of Don PTs but this fix seems to be the other extreme. There was an issue with the "do again"-type buttons that was introduced with the iOS 6 fixes, which allowed you to perform actions when a current one was already in progress. Bring it back! 😩

I also can't heal fast enough. It takes FOREVER for the app to load up, by the time it does I've lost a bunch of turf.
-
ios5 attack button still very slow

Waited a day or 2 to see if any improvement and none. Lucky to get off 1 hit every 2 seconds on wireless and 4g. I'd say its broke but good this time.nick wrote:

Just got this "thoughtful" reply from support, after I suggested that, after smashing the Attack button a quarter of a million times, I can attest to the fact that the current attack speed is definitely slower than the Pre-iOS 6 speed. Here is what they said:
TW_Support says:
"As the guy who was running 10+ attacks per second—possibly from 2 devices—last weekend, it's understandable that you'd be acutely affected by the recent changes, so we'll take this feedback with a grain of salt."
This is yet another example of how players who have played the game the longest and smashed the button the most in wars (Bugs, Shaggly, Coolio, Viper, etc.) are all telling the same story, simply to request that the speed be put back to what it was before the glitch, and instead, are being ignored, belittled and and they take our input with "a grain of salt".
Starting to see Havoc's point about the way the devs treat their most loyal customers....
And, p.s. it was fast Internet and a real twitchy thumb
-
I have played the game since dec 2011 and the attack button has NEVER been this slow...totally ridiculous.
-
Support's response to me was:
"We tried attacking in simulated and full combat modes – each time took <50ms. It's likely something to do with your connection to our servers." -
For a customer service to turn round and say to a paying customer that they take what they say with a grain of salt is just bad business. They could of just said thanks for your feedback or something like that
-
That's not what I would call customer service.
-
If this ain't fixed why continue playing its like being forced to play. Slow
-
Right this minute, we're seeing people from all over the world running 2-3 attacks per second – a rate comparable to the pre-iOS 6 release. Based on hard data — as in microsecond-precision server logs – this doesn't appear to be a problem anymore.
