1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
2. I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

I Hardly agree.

So like a survey of what gets said most.... That's deep. Really makes you think of what your doing with your life before its too late.

I don't agree with 2 or 5 and partly 4 depending on what viewpoint your taking. My first post may have been misleading.

That's better. But this is a list of top regrets from people near death. You may not agree with them now but do you think that will change when you are near death and old?I don't agree with 2 or 5 and partly 4 depending on what viewpoint your taking. My first post may have been misleading.

No because it has to do with my belief in life (Christianity) not my lustful, earthly wants and pleasures. It's something that won't ever change.

Ah I see. I guess if your happy with that than you'll die happy and it's all good.

I saw the amount of post in such a short time and thought fucking great religion debate. Is it worth it now? To what point and end? I thought this thread really made a person think. And to tarnish it with pointless arguments. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

2. I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
"This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship. Women also spoke of this regret, but as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence." -

Or what Jake? You gonna make ghetto get off the forums?!

Jake for a Christian you sure are doing a horrible job representing what we should act like. You acted like a know it all snob (to say it nicely) in the beginning of this thread. That's what rubbed everyone the wrong way. This thread wasn't intended to be a religion thread. Bringing religion into the forums isn't a good idea. It just brings a lot of anger. Trust me I've seen it dozens of times.
Zraygo good thread. It was nice reading that list
