+1. Remember who you represent. In the bible, Jesus didn't force his opinions on anyone. Be like himTurf🐑Warrior wrote:
Well stated Turf Warrior.Jake for a Christian you sure are doing a horrible job representing what we should act like. You acted like a know it all snob (to say it nicely) in the beginning of this thread. That's what rubbed everyone the wrong way. This thread wasn't intended to be a religion thread. Bringing religion into the forums isn't a good idea. It just brings a lot of anger. Trust me I've seen it dozens of times.
Zraygo good thread. It was nice reading that list

Thank you very much for your two cents worth. It was read and exited out the back of my head with much enthusiasm. Thank you so much.I saw the amount of post in such a short time and thought fucking great religion debate. Is it worth it now? To what point and end? I thought this thread really made a person think. And to tarnish it with pointless arguments. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

Number 1 is perfect.
Just a shame that enlightenment comes to most at their time of death.
I for one, am tired of conforming to the lies of modern life. Living by standards set by those who are no more human than we are. No more deserving of a decent life. Having to accept those born into wealth and power are heirs to our lives. Fuck it, I say.

Well that's the problem with this world. The way things have been set up, it's not designed to make us happy it's been designed to keep us chasing and escapism.Chasing our next promotion, chasing the next gadget out, chasing the good life that we see portrayed in films, tv, music and magazines. And then because we are never satisfied we spend all our money on escapism to get our minds off the pressure of chassing. Escapism is all entertainment and things that takes our mind off our real life, for example going out, gaming, movies, music, holidays ect...

It's the new way to control people. In the dark ages they invented hell to scare people to do as they were told. Now we have the rat race to keep us under control.

Ok I'm sorry but reading this thread kind of angered me. First off, it was just meant to show the majority and make people think about their own lives. Which is great and we all should do. However, we should not wait for a death sentence (disease or age) for us to think because tomorrow may be our last day.
Where I started getting angry is the fact you all are hating someone for having a different opinion. I'm sorry but everyone, when it comes to death, has an opinion on what they believe will happen when they die. To chastise someone who says they believe in a religion and does not have the regrets is just ignorant. He did not preach nor try and get people to follow his thinking. He just said he did not agree. As for acting like a snob, I would also say good riddance if I got attacked for having an opinion based soley off not agreeing. Common friends, you are bigger then this. -

IMO the forums have been turned into a stam dump more than anything relevant. People who disagree with said opinion just bash and hate and all their friends come out to put people in the ER making the forums a place for the same twenty or so people to share their thoughts or opinions. Also quite funny reading the top 5 regrets considering this game is based on sitting and typing out codes for hours on end...

I don't think it was because he is religious. I think it's because he was arrogantly dismissive of the opinions of people on their death bed. "nah, I wouldn't regret that" as he is snacking on pizza rolls with his entire life in front of him. As if he had the wisdom or life experience to even speak to this issue. As if he knows better than hospice patients about life regrets.

I agree with all 5, my mother's passing in January made me realise that life is too short.
I'm going to do my very best to be the real me. I've made some hard choices and I know it's a long and painful road. But, I know I'll get there and when my time comes, I know I tried my hardest.

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers...And according to said book, Christ didn't force anyone to accept his teachings.

And neither am I. (of course He did whip everyone out of the temple for selling things but I guess that's a side note for everybody)
