  Curiosity, the largest and most advanced spacecraft ever sent to another planet, stuck its extraordinary landing Sunday night in triumphant and flawless fashion, and is poised to begin its pioneering, two-year hunt for the building blocks of life — signs that Earth's creatures may not be not alone in the universe.

  Curiosity immediately spotted a strange trail across the landscape. Scientists have determined that Mr. Doux had hopped to Mars and was currently hopping across the Mars landscape.

  This is great, I had been following the journey over the pass few mounths. BTW if you want to hop on mars you better have some good hiking boots!

  I'm guessing I zero gravity the average hop radius of an 86inf turf would be about 5miles....triple up on police maps and you may be able to hop back to earth!😜

  Chance is so little it isn't realistic or worth worrying about. How likely is it that an advanced civilization could go unnoticed by us on mars? It would have to be so much more advanced than humanity's most advanced technology by likely tens of thousands, if not hundred of thousands, of years. Even then there would be evidence that would picked up that was obviously not natural. But I haven't heard anything and something like that would hit the international news faster than it got to the satellites antenna.

  The government would cover that up pretty quick. That why the don't let us see the monsters in area 51.

  @Jakers, don't put controversial topics like area 51 and aliens into this as evidence.

  And two, two questions. What the hell is the point of covering up aliens and all this stuff people claim on loose evidence the government is 'covering up'?

  Plus, if the United Stares can't stop Soviet spies from relaying nuclear response information to the Soviet Union about the United States's response in the event of a nuclear strike from the Soviet Union, how could they cover up 'aliens' on mars?
