Spicy Chicken sandwich anyone?

How has the LGBT community hurt us? They have not; the majority of them want equality and we have no good reason to take away their rights.

What is closer to fascism? The one offering his opinion or the one demanding his opinion be universal? Funny. Those that preach tolerance the most are the least tolerant."When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross." - Sinclair Lewis

Creating polarizing divisions and then exploiting them is right out of the fascist playbook. Using religion as a vehicle to pit people against each other and demanding that the laws of the state be based on religious values is fascist to the core as well. Your demand that people be tolerant of your intolerance is quite ironic. People who advance fascist agendas are usually unaware that they are doing so, that's why it works so well.OneThumbBastard wrote:

Addi I wasnt trying to single out a denomination. I was just saying there are larger things to get bent out of shape over than 1 businesses statement about anything.No. And I don't eat there.
I support the right to hold business in any state or city. I also support gay rights, yes, as a Christian - southern baptist at that Fachan. I do not support hate, judgement and discrimination so I won't eat at this establishment. It should be a personal choice with these things. Our states have no right to ban a business.
I applaud the company for having the guts to stand up for their beliefs on family values and in today's day and age to even say they are Christian.

I do too. I support anyone's freedom of speech. I don't applaud them for contributing to anti-gay organizations though. They want their rights acknowledged, I want everyone's rights acknowledged.★Λddi★ wrote:

He didn't force his opinion on anyone. He was asked for his opinion. It doesn't matter what he does with his money. As far as "Gay Rights" No one took away anyone's rights because they are gay.Why do the gay haters assume us gays and allies hate chick fil la for what he said? I dont hate him and his company for what he said. I HATE him and his business for giving MILLIONS to anti gay groups to keep equality away. I respect his opinion but hate his actions. He has no right to force his PERSONAL religious BELIEF on everyone.......PERSONAL beliefs are just that...... PERSONAL. Equality is logical, and is coming no matter how much you hate gays. There is no logical argument to deny LGBT people the same rights as the rest. No bible quote or Jesus line will ever nullify equality. So in realit there is no argument here, as there is only one side. The religious side is based on personal opinions with ZERO facts. Plain and simple

You: "I'm not hating on anyone, I'm just saying that you are a sin created by the devil, what's the big deal?"
Jesus would slap you like the money changers in the temple if he were here right now. That book you wield is a guide to inner peace, not a weapon to beat people over the head with. If salvation truly comes from within you are doomed my friend. -
