So all I wanted was some waffle fries. I see this huge line if people, so I figure they are giving away free chicken sandwiches.
Three hours later I find out they aren't giving away anything.
I was pissed.
That's all I got.

Shame on the people who are boycotting chic fil a just because they say they don't support gay marriage. It's just as bad as some conservative Christians who boycott certain businesses because they owner says they don't believe in god. No matter which side of the fence you are on, we all have the freedom to have an opinion on these subjects and as long as we are explaining it in a respectful way, more power to them. With that said, we also have the right to speak out against companies and people that don't agree with our opinions. If a company is willing to take a stand on any political flashpoint, it should also be ready to accept the repercussions and/or rewards.

I'm still pissed. I mean I ain't for or against gay marriage. It doesn't concern me. I don't care.
I just want my damn free chicken sandwich!!!
I don't ask for much dammit.
Ugh.

SURPRISE!!! A devout Christian who closes his business on Sundays, in the name of the lord, is against gay marriage😱I'm more pissed at him about not being able to get a god damned chicken sandwich on Sunday! Just imagine the power of chil-fil-a and the NFL!!!✊

Nice to see you again too! As far as tebow, I knew Elway was going to bail on him soon. Most of his support seemed fake anyway. Hope the jets do well though

No matter which side of gay marriage you stand on. You should still have some respect for a corporation that stands behind their values no matter what public opinion might be. Far to many companies will adjust their stances based on political/social popularity aswell as biased media influence. Personally I think everyone should have the right to lose half their belongings in a divorce. Its not fair that this is only reserved for traditional marriages... But, I respect chik-fil-a for showing some integrity and voice their opinion instead of the new socially acceptable opinion, regardless of what it might do to their business.
True. Values are too often swayed by public opinion. 👍

Yup; I don't care what they think, I want my food! I do try to avoid (I wouldn't really call it boycotting) companies/stores that use slave labor. Companies like Nestlé and Wal-Mart (except Walmart has really good frozen General Tso's Chicken 😌)Turf🐑Warrior wrote:

I would hardly call this hate... I wouldn't even call what they are doing as discrimination. They aren't denying any service to any gays and they are going out with their knifes and pitchforks to kill them. just because someone speaks out against gays doesn't mean they hate them. At all.

They don't choose to be gay. How is it a sin if it is not consciously committed? In fact, I will continue, I do not support gays. I am a Christian and follow the bible religiously (pun fully intended 😜). I believe being gay is a sin. But I will not discrimate them for sinning differently than I ("Let he who is blameless throw the first stone"). I actually have lots of respect for openly gay gays. They take lots of discrimination and hate daily and still stand up for what they believe.

I don't get TOO involved in the fight over marriage. I mean shit, if I can't get married I don't have to bother with divorce. Maybe that's just a silly little joke I tell myself to make myself feel better. I don't think it hurts that I can't marry the love of my life. I think it hurts that I don't get the same rights as people who are devoted to each other by law. I think what really hurts is that I'm so different. With all this I wonder why I can't just find myself a man and be happy. Wouldn't I be better off? It appears I would be. And it hurts to see the extremes to which some people/companies will take this. I loved chick fil a. But I just can't stomach it, can't bring myself to do that. My family and I also don't wear tommy hilfiger (sp?) bc he once said he doesn't want disable people wearing his clothing. For those of you who don't know, the last 8 generations of females and one male in my family were born blind. Except for my aunt and I. Go figure, we're both gay.
-
I don't see a problem with what Chics said. So what if Cathy said he is for heterosexual or "traditional" marriage. Good for them.
The thing that gets me, as a gay man, is the uprising FROM the public about THE PUBLIC. Every man or women is entitled their opinion and say in the matter. That is what myself and many more like me have fought for. The freedoms in this country we all take for granted soooo much. We think, just because we have a right to free speech, that everyone wants to hear it. They don't.
So to those AGAINST Chics Fil A (or however you spell it), please just look at the big picture. So a rich guy isn't for gay marriage. So what. America wasn't for desegregation, but they got over it. For the most part.
