I wore my swimsuit when I got baptized...😃😃😃Wait wearing the clothes of the opposite gender is a sin? Don't Christians wear something extremely close to a dress when being baptized?
I'm no expert, I can't claim to be. When I first started looking into religions it didn't take long before I said no thanks. But anyway have fun crossdressing! Don't worry, those of us accepting will still love you. 👗✌😄 -

For those of you would are against homosexuality... Get off your damn "I" product and the Internet! Apple is a big supporter of gays and the inventor of the Internet was homosexual.

Your interpretations of most of those are, as expected, incorrect. Tell me, what size blue jeans did Moses wear? It's a metaphor. They all wore robes back then. This particular metaphor tells women and men to abide by their roles in that culture. It's obvious you all will continue misquoting and pulling from context to justify yourselves. Have fun. I'm going outside. 😽You don't condone anything on that list? 'Wearing clothes of the opposite sex', does it bother you to see women wearing pants? 'Lying with a menstrous woman', enjoy sleeping on the couch one week of each month? 'A proud look', no more TV, movies or organized sports for you. 'Refusing to hear the law' and 'Oppression of others', no more ignoring the constitution and calling for laws that oppress homosexuals? 'Eating of unclean things', pretty sure chick-fila falls under the biblical definition of unclean. Save your religious platitudes for the congregation.

Sorry, I know I said I was done in this thread, but Matgie's statement takes me back to the root issue of this whole situation. I have no problem buying products from companies that support causes with which I don't agree. My money is being used to buy a product or service that I want. After I get that product or service, it isn't my money anymore. What they do with that money after I make my purchase is up to them because it is now their money. I think the only reason people have said to not buy chicken sandwiches if you don't want to support those causes that Chick-Fil-A supports is because those opposing Chick-Fil-A are telling them to stop supporting that which they want to support...but the money they're using for those causes is their money to use as they please...until it becomes illegal for them to support a particular cause (which, I believe, will likely happen one day).

This thread is still going?
Lol, ok whatever..... Good luck with that bible thing. -
👆
I was actually surprised it came back from the second page too. -
We all sinned. We all can be forgiven. I beleive all sins are equally bad. I still sin. But I strive not to, even if I do, If I repent, I am forgive. Btw, in 1 Timothy 1:11 is one of many places in the new testement where it defines homosexuality as a sin. Guys. Stop being jerks to each other. Take it to pm.

1 Timothy 2:12 says women are to be kept silent. Obviously we've evolved from the bible days of women's inferiority in most parts of the world, so why is it so difficult to let this gay discrimination stop?

I think everyone is allowed to believe and think what they want. However, I feel it is wrong to push your beliefs on others. I personally am against organizations that do not allow people the freedom to believe what they want. Be for or against homosexuality, that is your choice, but do not force your beliefs on me. And stop being Hypocrates and waffling in your beliefs when it bests suits you.

Dino, You chose to shamelessly bring your religion into this, not me or anyone else. I ascribe no deeper meaning to your holy book than any other piece of literature, and as such I am free to interpret it in any way I please. There are no wrong or right answers. If you don't like how random people discuss your most deeply held beliefs, don't cavalierly and cheaply toss them out to strangers on the internet like mardi gras beads. If you don't like others pushing their values on you, why would you do that to them? Gays are not using passages from some other book to call you a sinner and an abomination for being straight, they're just trying to live their lives and seek the same liberties the rest of us take for granted. You and others like you who beat people over the head in the name of Jesus are clearly not doing God's work. In your selfish quest for everlasting life you've lost your way in this world.

So...you don't know what size blue jeans Moses wore?I'm sure you believe you've caught me in some sort of rhetorical trap here, lol. Logic isn't your stong suit, is it? Anyway, people were smaller then so if I was going to guess I'd say that if blue jeans had been around, Moses would be a 26 waist with a 28 inseam.
Seriously though, men and women did not dress exactly the same in Moses' time. Most of the garments looked similar but had subtle yet significant differences. Also men wore a tunic while women wore a head scarf. However, this particular abomination was probably targeted at the prohibition of pagan rituals in which women wore body armor. Seems kinda silly in light of what you said earlier about universal truths. Wait, I thought your new covenant exempted you from the burden of concern over these abominations? Well, apparently all except for the ones that reinforce your preconceptions and bigotry. -
Nope, just exempts me from having to fulfill the same mandates. Nice try, though.

Eet Moer Chikin.
PS: Jesus said "above all, love one another". He didn't qualify it. He meant - everyone. Gay, straight, bi, whatever, makes no difference.

Look guys. I'm a Christian, and I do bad things. We all do. As a Christian, however, I try to follow and do what Jesus would do. He made sure that even though we mess up, we can come back. Some of the principles in the Old Testament, like sacrificing sheep, were nullified when Jesus died. The lamb(sheep) was to symbolize purity. The sheep did nothing wrong(at least I hope not), and that takes the place of the wrong things we do. However, sheep don't really have a choice on the matter, so although it would work for men, it didn't cut it once and for all. Jesus, being fully God and fully man, was the most perfect man there ever could be. God sent Him to die so our sins would go with Him. If we choose to let Jesus take all of our sins and let Him lead us, all of our sins will be cleansed by Him. We are blameless through Him.
I realize that some of you may have different opinions to what I've said, but I'm saying what I believe God did for us. -

What's the difference? Havoc knows what it means to be a follower of Jesus, unconditional love for your fellow man. Not pity, not contempt, not judgement, just love. How can one tell a gay person, "The love you feel for your partner is an abomination and a sin and you are going to burn in hell unless you pretend to be like me, but I love you." Makes no sense Dino, no matter how much you twist the bible to suit your argument. Just be honest and admit that you hate gay people. The truth shall set you free.Nope, just exempts me from having to fulfill the same mandates. Nice try, though.

Lets all just shove religion done eachother's throats. But really believe what you want to believe. As long as your not going to try to force it on other people I've got no problem with you.
