Question for old people on TWπ΄π΅

I am in my late 30s and I think i might have to trade in my reliable Toyota Camry XLE for a 2011 Camaro 2SS that has 426-hp V8 with 2 Dunkin Donuts cup holders. Is it too soon to go through an early midlife crisis.
-
Oh yeah my first car was a 79 Berlinetta Camaro with a bitchen 8 Track system and T-tops. Which is why I need to get another Camaro.

I guess it all depends on what you need the car for. If it's for cruising around with your buds to pick up chicks...go for it! If it's for road trips with your family and for picking up your 2 year-old from day-care...I say your SOL.
-
Do it before you blink.
-
I think the timing is perfect. I had the same issue last year. I just had to get rid of a 4 month old Honda accord to get a more family friendly mustang...lol

Blast some Def Leppard and RATT from the radio while you're driving and go back a few years bro! -

Late 30's is OLD?!?!? damn that must mean I'm ancient π.
Making me think of the street Bug I had when young. Pegged the speedometer a few times π. I think I got more tickets in that one car than I have all the years since. -

I'm with Bunny...late 30's is old? Kids like kick-ass cars too, especially when they are picked up from school?
-
Not a question on that last sentence...
-
Alright you guys got me pumped.
1) ππ from the wife
2) oldest son will be psyched if it kicks down to him in a few years.
3) Life insurance fully paid up.
I guess all that is left is to go to dig up my old leather jacket and some Led Zeppelin tunes. -
Ball out till you fall out! The new camaro is sweet... And I don't care how old I get I'm not getting rid of my 71 cutlass!

Late 30's is no where near mid life crisis car. Get the Camaro now and then the Lambo you get in your 50's wont look like such a crisis car. Break em in slowly ya know.
-
DOOOO ITTTT. SOO HOTTT.
-
Nooooooo Johnny! Think of the ππππ! Where would they sit?????
-
One of the firemen I know just got a new camero - it's fuckin sweeeeeet but does look a little weird dropping the daughters off at the softball game :P

I am probably one of the oldest players. My first question us how many kids do you have and how old are they? I have 3 and the youngest is 13. I just got rid of my suburban and got a mid life crisis car. It's been great, except fir a few times when I needed mire then 2 seats

I currently own a 67 camaro rs/ss I'd never give it up.. I say got for it! When that new 2ss came out I wanted to trade my truck in for it.. To many bills for me tho -
I am gonna be gettin myself a new car hopefully soon. A 2011 Ford Fiesta hatched back! Oh yeah!
-
I'm 36 and I say do it. 6 speed, of course.

I'm 38. The one car seat I have in back is the only thing that would be a pain in my personal ass. I say DO IT!!! Besides, a preemptive midlife crisis could save you a lot of trouble down the road. And, the πππ can always sit on your lap if need be, right?

Groundhog thinks you should!

I took a look at some pics of the 2011 camaro...and I take back everything I said before. If your pocketbook (and I guess wife?) allows...go for it.
